Really enjoyed our family meal together. We didn't book, but they managed to fit us in. Family of 4 2 courses and drinks about £80. Great customer service. Food a little pricey, so wouldn't go regularly, but a nice treat.

Have visited twice, both times have been great. Especially the most recent visit which the lovely manageress catered brilliantly to my dietary requirements and had no problems doing so. I chose the steak, and had new potatoes and veg to accompany it, it was all delicious and the steak was cooked to perfection. Also the burger my partner had was great, and the deserts topped off a great meal. We will be hurrying back!!

Tasty food, lovely environment. Staff were very attentive, whilst I was waiting at the bar for less than 2 min 3 different staff passing by checked to make sure I was being seen to. One negative comment about their strange system. We were a walk-in group at 6pm, got told we can only order starters if we didn’t have a booking (the place was less than half full). We were about to leave but noticed we can book online for 30min later, which we did. We went back to the front desk and told them we had a booking but we’re early. We were seated and told that there is a wait time for food but otherwise we could order straight away. We didn’t quite understand why they couldn’t just seat us for dinner in the first place…

Came here on Sunday for the greyhounds very own Hilarys birthday gathering... we arrived early as had a table booked... we had the Sunday roast, which was really lovely and for dessert I had the sticky toffee pudding, probably one of the best sticky toffee puddings I've ever had.. great staff and service and very dog friendly. We shall definitely be coming back. ❤ sorry I'd eaten half my dinner before I took photo .

Popped in for a quick beer whilst checking out the village. Nice place, warm welcome . A good choice of cask ale, not so much on the craft / ipa unless you like icebreaker. Set up mainly for food. The outside area is really good, decent space and overlooks countryside. Worth a visit.

Love this place, was sitting outside as weather was beautiful but have been many many times. Food's good for a chain restaurant, staff were polite but busy. A*

Good atmosphere and nice staff. Menu is diverse and with chef's special menu. Service was quick for the food, drinks took some time and were on the pass for some time, for a gin and tap water. Good vegetarian choices on the general menu and on the roast. Amazing sticky toffee pudding, the dessert from the chef menu came incomplete, fondant with chocolate dome and hot chocolate sauce to pour over the dome and melt, the sauce came but the dome was missing. Price was within the normal for this type of pub. Nice tweak with some money going to charity.

Better than average pub food at reasonable prices. We dined while a couple of large parties were being served, so a little noisy, and service a little slower than usual. Overall a good experience, but do not expect a gastro-pub experience.

Very friendly, food was good quality and not over priced. Good location with an excellent outside area, either in the sun or the shade. Pleasant experience as a break in our journey.

Lovely pub interiors and exteriors. The gardens are very modern and lots of room for dogs and children. Cute duck pond too. It’s great for sunshine as it’s west facing with epic sunsets over the fields. It would have been 5 stars but the food was very average. We ordered the top steak which was very cheap meat in my opinion. Not cooked very well either. My partners pie looked nice but lacked flavour. Hopefully it was an off day for them. With better quality ingredients and better food this place could be amazing.
