First time dining here. It is nice enough but nothing exceptional.
The Asian Beef starter is really quite nice and the Harissa Salmon was a generous portion.
I'd probably go again because it was a pleasant place overall.
Andrea our waitress was absolutely amazing. Fantastic service and excellent cocktail making . Would absolutely recommend the bottomless brunch. Food was amazing and cocktails even better.
Always have a nice peaceful meal here, it is very rarely busy.
Great service and great steak always but a couple of negatives from our meal this time. They were only serving the lunch menu, the fries were overdone and the jumbo prawns were ok but jumbo must mean something different to whoever writes the menu.
Again, great service and can't fault our waitress, she even disinfected the highchair before giving it to us.
Food was amazing - beef short rib was incredible. Our waitress Andi also went out of her way to make it a great first experience here. Would highly recommend!
We have stayed here several times. Initially, there were a few problems, but the last couple of times, there has been new chefs and management. The food, drink and service is impeccable. Everyone is very friendly and attentive, but top marks has to go to Kate. She goes above and beyond to please everyone. Her care for the guests is very personal and thorough and makes everyone feel welcome. We will be returning again very soon and highly recommend Bar and Block to everyone who wants to have a relaxing time, with good service.
Yesterday we went at the restaurant and overall we had a great time and delicious dinner at the same time. All staff was super polite and joyful. We were served by Andi who made us feel very welcomed. Restaurant has very nice atmosphere and looks very well maintained and clean. Food was delicious and the quality was excellent. Prices were reasonable and were happy to pay for all the service. We will be delighted to go back again.
I stayed in the hotel above Bar + Block and ate here three nights on the bounce. The food and staff were all excellent, especially Sam - He's a cracking chap!
I had my wedding dinner week ago at Bar+ Block steakhouse in Milton Keynes. It was absolutely amazing. Food was great. Lady name Lisa overdone herself with help she offer and decorations. If you her boss and you read it- she deserves raise! Food was amazing. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. Great service!
Drove past after going to ifly and it looked inviting,so thought we would go see what they had.
Great ladies served us and the food was absolutely banging.
We had roast dinners except my littlest who had a burger. Everything was polished off . Highly recommended if you live in Milton Keynes or visit it.

Food was lovely customer service was FABULOUS! Only reason I gave 4 stars for food was because portion size was actually not as big as I thought. The food actually tasted delicious.
On 1st July my son and his new wife had their wedding reception meal here. The staff were excellent and Lisa went over and above to ensure everyone was happy and everything for them was perfect. It was her day off but she attended to make sure the reception went without any issues.
The meals selected by the quests was perfectly cooked with generous portion sizes.
Thank you all once again for all your efforts in making the reception just as memorable as the ceremony.
We were first time visitors who just arrived from Leicester via train and wanted to go for a nice (not too expensive) meal with a pint.
I saw that the pricing was quite reasonable, so we decided to go in and give it a try.
This place not only didn't disappoint, it amazed us!
I've had many Mediterranean chicken burgers before, but this one was on a different level - the filet was fresh, well cooked, but not dry (that's usually when the chicken gets overcooked)the sauce was so nice and juicy and just right with spice that I could go on, but basically, you need to try it!
The interior is quite modern, the toilets were pretty clean too, just sometimes they need to have someone to keep an eye on the TP cause it goes fast there.
But all in all, amazing food and great atmosphere! Loved it!!
2-4-1 Cocktails to start your evening are always the best, tried their Popstar Martini, loved it. They've had a new menu recently, much better than before, love the home made Onion Bhajis & the Rib Burger is AMAZING! Can't wait to go back, thanks Yav & the rest for being Awesome! 😀
Lovely new restaurant right underneath the new Premier Inn hotel. Unfortunately on our visit they were very short staffed and getting prompt service was disappointing. It took 10 minutes for the first drink to arrive which was just 2 beers and water.
Before sitting down, we had had observed the typed notices saying they were closing at 9pm. It left me feeling uneasy throughout in case were were asked to leave before finishing our meals.
Overall, the steaks were good but the portion of peppercorn sauce supplied, was very stingy; the size just a little more than a double tot measure. Barely enough to cover the steak.
And although I had the larger 12oz steak, I had the same sauce portion as someone else who had the 8oz steak. And extra sauce is charged at £1.50.
Had an awesome brunch at this venue. Very warm staff and the food was amazing. Quiet as it was, I did have a good meal. Definitely worth the spend.
