Roast was lovely but the carrots were...gritty which was a bit odd. Staff are always very friendly and accommodating (especially when I have dietary issues). Never seem to be able to find my booking but so far have always been able to squeeze me in. Site is on a lovely location with (would you believe) a lake view which seems a great place if you wanted to hire it out for an event but the drive in is a little tricky as it does look like private property (head up, keep right)
I visited the Lake view on Thursday for a bingo night with my friend.
I had one to many and became a bit of a nightmare and lost my phone.
But would just like to say how amazing the staff were with handling me.
I returned today to look for my phone and a staff member called Alan was great and had been looking after it trying to return it back to me π

I've been going to the lake view quite often lately, and I think it's amazing. The view speaks for itself, the staff are very warm and welcoming and the food and drinks are all you could expect. I've introduced some friends to the View and it's become a regular spot for all of us of a summers evening.
Paid for tickets for a drag night here, the atmosphere was fantastic. The staff were really friendly and the alchohol was reasonably priced. Would deffinatly recommend . Already booked my tickets to see ky Kelly again in September !
Amazing view & so peaceful for a lazy but very enjoyable 'ladies do lunch' afternoon. The staff were super friendly, couldn't do enough for you. Definitely will be going back π
We had a lovely lunch today. The kitchen wasn't supposed to be open, but the chef still 'knocked up' a really good risotto and a salmon with capers. Nice staff, easy going yet safe environment. Certainly go back.
