Absolutely love the atmosphere of this place. We went for lunch and it did not disappoint. The service was wonderful - v ert polite and non-intrusive. The food came quick and it was very tasty. We ordered to try the beef and the chicken burger and they were both very flavorful and big. Love the chips as well - nicely spices and crispy. I also had a latte and I was pleasantly surprised of how delicious it was (I love my coffee but not everywhere does a good cup). The place is spacious and decorated with taste. I noticed they do roast and quiz nights so will have to come back and try those.

Hosted my 40th celebrations there, with around 50 guests and buffet. We were given exclusive use of the restaurant and also the rear courtyard “secret garden”. The team were amazing and friendly all night long, felt more like guests, and they gave us a dedicated member of staff to look after us. The buffet they put on was probably the best buffet we have had at a party, great selection of food, great tasting and plenty to go around. The team at The Plough really knocked it out of the park. The pub itself is lovely and has a modern, country feel about it. All in all a top notch place and a wonderful experience there

Lovely and cozy place. Good quality and quantity of food. Excellent spot to go with large groups - you can hire a private room, went with ~20 people and the service was impeccable.

Excellent food and service. First time visit and it won't be the last. The food was well cooked and tasted fabulous - no soggy vegetables in this pub! Very generous portions. Make sure you bring your appetite, you're going to need it!! We paid a late lunchtime visit and had pie of the day, sausage and mash followed by apple & pear crumble and white chocolate & raspberry bread & butter pudding. So full, we didn't eat again for the rest of the day. Great value prices too. Our Waiter was exceptionally polite and friendly. Couldn't fault it. Would thoroughly recommend

Fantastic pub and restaurant. Beautiful inside, really friendly staff and fantastic food. Also good value for money! We had a glass of rose and white wine and shared the seafood sharing platter with a potion of chips. The presentation was good, and it all tasted amazing. Highly recommend and I will be back.

Went to the plough as a last minute surprise Sunday lunch for my gf.. the whole ambience when we entered the pub was great.. decor was awesome and looked classy. We went for the sharer Sunday roast and when it came to the table we wasn't disappointed!! It was huge and was plenty for the 2 of us easily. The meat was cooked to perfection and melt in the mouth. Desert was equally awesome and oh so tasty!!!! All together was a great Sunday lunch and will 100% be returning very soon. Thanks so much!!!

A nice little pub tucked away off the beaten track. Not as busy as some of the more well known pubs in MK, but that's part of the attraction. Access to the canal is a great addition, but can be a bit of a trek from the bar, and uphill and some steps, so not for every one. Great food though, and the service is always really friendly.

I've known 'the plough' on and off throughout the last 25 years and have seen it go through various incarnations. My recent visit here was absolutely lovely on all fronts. Having the canal tow path right on the doorstep makes it great as a refreshment stop if you're on, or walking along, the grand Union canal in the Simpson Village area. Great place☺️

Only had a quick bite in the bar area so can't rate for complete experience. But very nice food and welcoming staff, will visit again

An amazing Sunday sharing platter as always. Only slight criticism was the Yorkshires were a little overcooked, but didn’t spoil it.

I've just attended an after funeral gathering here. The room was the perfect size for a smallish family/friends gathering. The food was superb with great variety. The Plough was the perfect choice of venue and the customer service was excellent too. Totally recommended.

Visited the plough in Simpson Village this afternoon about 5pm. Food was excellent tried the Vegan Burger for a change really nice. Service was excellent also. Under new management and new chef. Hannah that runs the Cross Keys is looking after this pub at the moment.
