Solid fish and chips at at decent price. I got the large cod and chips, cod was huge with crispy batter, chips were on point. Friendly service, best local chippie by a country mile.
Update: got the haddock recently which was also delicious

Great little chip shop. I was walking past with the wife discussing what we were going to do for tea, the chips smelt great so it was immediately decided. A large chips to share. Staff were welcoming and service was very quick. I would definitely recommend it for the future.

We went to Westcroft for our weekly shop and we smelt the delicious, mouthwatering smells from this chippy. We could not just leave without fish and chips! Best decision! Best chippy in town. We won't be going anywhere else from now on. Portion size was great, quality was great, service was great and the price was really reasonable. All in all, amazing and we highly recommend!
Westfriars has had its up and downs in the last decade or so since I moved to the area, but it seems to be in new hands recently and the quality of food and service is top notch once again. Moore's in Oxley Park is always busy so this is now our regular once again. Great stuff.
Good food, good portion sizes and very friendly.
Only downside is a little bit pricey, but probably not by much more than most chippys these days!
Also, I wasn't a fan of the saveloy, it was a bit tasteless for me, sadly. However, the chips and the burgers are lush and definitely worth going back for!
Can't comment on any other food, as not tried anything other than the saveloy, burger and chips.
We go every week for our burger and chip lunch, Definitely recommend for a good burger and a decent portion of chips.
Once got home my order was scrumptious very happy thank you I sure will use you again on a Wednesday wen am that way

My local chippy is very good, I recommend everyone reading this goes to try it! Cheers to the excellent staff who work their nuts off making such good quality food!
Had fish & chips yesterday 😋 with curry sauce... delicious, and super fresh/tasty. Very clean chips, as I'm sure they change oil regularly

Love the fish & chips from this place. Customer Service is great and the lady serving is always smiling. Really nice crispy batter and good thick cut chips, with no straggly off cuts
Visited four Fridays in a row during lunch for "Market research" of course, and it was consistently high quality every time. The chips were light in colour, well cooked, piping hot and not at all greasy. The batter on the sausage is light, crispy and again not at all greasy and the curry sauce had plenty of flavour.

Really lovely fish and chips only order regular cod and chips gave the lady £10 and she short changed me £2 so worked out quite expensive. Wish I had checked my change before putting it in my purse I only had £10 in cash on me so I know for sure I was short. I am only saying this so it doesn’t happen to somebody else.
The best chip shop in Milton Keynes. Always look forward to a bag of chips when we are at Westcroft.
