I have to share this, I live in Perth Australia, I contacted Millie at the Swan Inn with regards to Christmas dinner for my mother who lives in Milton Keynes. My mum recently came out of hospital on the 23rd of December. I was hoping to find a place to cook Christmas dinner for my mum and then arrange to have a taxi deliver it. I had tried a few before the Swan Inn, with no luck. The Swan Inn cooked a fantastic Christmas lunch for my mum and then delivered it as no taxis would take the delivery job! Then to top this off I was told that they like to give back to the community at this time of year and that there was no charge and Merry Christmas! My mum said the food was fantastic, I cannot recommend the Swan Inn and Millie enough. My next trip to the UK I will be going to the Swan Inn to say thank you.

My Husband and I popped in for lunch last weekend, it was our first visit and we will definitely be returning. We had two lovely G&T's and shared "The Picnic" in their lovely garden. We both agreed it was the nicest pub lunch we've had, everything was so fresh and the sausage rolls were amazing. I even loved their piccalilli and I hate piccalilli usually! We've made a pact to return for dinner and will definitely become regulars!

It was very busy but the front of house and kitchen team accommodated us well. Fabulous restaurant, lovely wine and in a gorgeous setting. Enjoyable evening had by all, thank you!

We visited this afternoon as a family of 5. And we will be visiting again. We all enjoyed our meals and the homemade brown sauce was devine. I'm hoping you can send me your recipe. The GM Kindly gave us a taste of the sausage rolls.....get them on your menu with your brown sauce.......amazing!!! Thank you for good food and great service - we loved where we were sat, we could look straight in to the kitchen and watch the guys working.....it was a great view. ďż˝

Even though we live very close, it was the first time we have been here on a rare lunch with no children! Beautiful pub. Lovely dining area, delicious food. Nice garden with comfy pillows that we put on the ground! Will be back for sure!

We went here for our 2nd anniversary this week, the food was by far the best meal out we've had. We both ordered the duck breast and every bite was cooked perfectly. Can’t recommend enough

Great pub with lovely atmosphere and friendly service. Food was good; I enjoyed the beef brisket pie and my partner had the duck which he liked but noted that the fondant potatoes were very dry and he struggled a bit to cut his food in the bowl they served it in (perhaps a plate would be better?). But otherwise enjoyed and will be back!

Outstanding pub and setting, well decorated and kept throughout and a lovely garden. Superb service, very attentive bar and restaurant staff - polite, courteous, well natured and good humoured. Our kids were made to feel welcome here. Really good food too - and a great selection of ales, beers, wines, gins, whiskies & bourbons. We've been here before and really must make a point of coming again!

This is my local pub. Called in after work for a few drinks and then decided to have a burger and chips. This was a really nice well cooked meal. However when we arrived at 5.30pm the kitchen must have just opened and there was a lot of smoke coming from the kitchen wafting into the bar and restaurant, which wasn’t the best. Haven’t been in the pub for a while, it was much quieter than it used to be on a Friday after work, which is a shame.

I was taken here today for a surprise Father's Day treat with all of my children and I can say it was a wonderful experience for many reasons. The place is appealing as you approach it with plenty of parking and visible outside seating. We received a beautiful welcome from the team and were very quickly seated and drinks ordered. It is clearly a very well maintained building as the beams in the pub are a lovely colour. For those over 6ft, prepare to duck a lot. Onto the food, which was just amazing. I am normally a big eater but could only manage a main and a dessert. They were great portions and they food was bursting with flavour. It's also not often I've been somewhere who can actually make cornbread to a good standard and serve it as part of a meal. Loved that. The dessert was scrum diddly umptious. Everyone who sat round the table fully enjoyed their meals. We were also able to have a laugh and joke about without feeling like we were being watched or going to get asked to quieten down. I loved the atmosphere, loved that I felt welcome, and loved the food. A very well run place. Thank you for a wonderful day.

Lovely place the staff were fantastic really friendly atmosphere. Mum had the fish and chips she loved it. I had the £21 mixed meat roast unfortunately the gravy was like water. What was the point of a massive Yorkshire when you have nothing to dip it into. Can’t fault the staff fantastic

Nice venue, plenty of space in the dining room. Good food and decent size portions. Only let down was the complete darkness of the car park. Having to use a torch or type phone to find the entrance and your way to and from your vehicle.

We met up with friends on Saturday evening. Three had starters and all a main course. My husband had the ham & eggs the meat was good but the egg whites were a bit rubbery. We all ate our meals and empty plates all round. Just coffee after that, which was OK but nothing special. The staff were welcoming and attentive.

it's been a while since I was here. Went there for family Sunday lunch at 3pm. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere and location, just as I remembered it. Our starters were ok, the beat was the Honey Glazed Pork Belly. I wassnet to keen on my Roast. Meat was very nice and tender, potatoes we're cooked nicely, gravy was very tasty but I have to say the yourkshires were too dark and vegetables were over cooked and looked a bit old. As I have said before, we all have different tastes buds, so you will have to try it out for yourselves
