Old Beams - Milton Keynes - Photo album

Service was excellent, warm and professional but not fussy. Ambiance was lovely enough for a special occasion yet comfortable for a casual lunch. Food was good and coffee and small dessert combo for £6 is pure genius. Excellent selection of non-alcoholic bev. Enjoyed everything about this place. Eve
We went along for the pub quiz on Monday night and had dinner before it. Had a lovely meal and great friendly service. Especially good for GLUTEN FREE - my wife is coeliac but had an amazing chicken burger and chips! Thank us for a fun evening.
Lovely place to spend an afternoon chatting and catching up with friends. Lovely atmosphere, drinks were fresh and good. Didn't eat do can't comment on food
Omg we popped here for disco bingo. It was so busy. However the staff were all so polite, so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. And we didn't have to wait long at all considering. Compliments to the chef. The atmosphere was great, I'm not really a busy pub person. But I had a lovely eveni
Family lunch with my mum and boyfriend. Richard, our waiter was attentive/Superb. Great atmosphere, they had a wedding reception there, while we were there. The restaurant was quite busy.
Finally made it to a pub roast! The Old Beams team have adapted very well with all the changes. The garden area which is lovely and spacious can easily accommodate for 100-150 people. But seeing as the snow had just graced us with its presences we opted for indoors. member of staff called Hugo who
Nice Sunday roast, we had lamb shank with gammon and nut roast. Broccoli and red cabbage was delicious. Lamb soft and tender. Service was excellent, made us feel welcome. Crayons and colouring pages given to the children, which they loved. The building has high ceilings, lovely beams, and nice
Food is well prepared and tasty. Warm, inviting atmosphere with very good service. Will happily come back to experience other dishes!
Love this place. Service is so friendly and prompt. These guys really care. The outside and inside is really nice laid out. The food is good. Sometimes a little salty but nice choice of food. They have a kids menu too.
It was an en-spec visit, I hadn't booked. Everyone gave a very friendly helpful service, with great carvery served in no time at all. Very good ale. Attractive venue with beams & a TV to watch WC Final next to a roaring fire!
Food and drinks are good, a little pricey, but to be expected in a nice area. Service is very hit and miss. The last time we went we had to ask for the bill 3 times and waited 20+ minutes just for menus, while staff were standing around chatting. Other times have been better though
Really enjoyed our family meal. Great options on the regular menu and some of us chose from the specials, which were notably fresh and distinctive. Both menus had good gluten free options. Service was great too, as was the environment of the pub itself.
Great pub, went on a Friday night and was sooo busy. They had Garry Mac doing a pop music bingo night so was hard to find a seat. Good atmosphere and they even do table service so you don't need to queue at the bar.
We had such a beautiful Sunday lunch today 9/7/23. Well looked after by the wonderful James, who was so kind and attentive. He made our visit seamfree and extra special.
Fabulous food and the staff were very attentive, especially Courtney. Can thoroughly recommend the winter Ceasar salad and the toffee chocolate pavlova was delicious.
Amazing food and service as usual. Went for their Oktoberfest menu and the schnitzel didn’t disappoint!
Decent Sunday Roast and really great service. I'm deducting 1 star as I feel it was a bit over priced. We paid £60 for roast dinner and a couple of pints each. It was tasty and the portions were decent. Our waitress (Kate, I think) was brilliant. Big outdoor space too. Lots of vegan mains available
