2 nights in a roll to eat with my coworkers while traveling. Went out with coworkers and one of them definitely loved food. Not usually my meal but I decided to try a British meal - signature mixed grill with chicken breast, pork sausage, black pudding, gammon steak (ham), and steak. Not leaving the fried egg out. Very interesting plate. Wish I had more vegetables but this is a good plate. Chicken and the sausage were my favorite on the plate. Also learned fries = chips, chips = crisps, dessert = pudding. #britishhfood #miltonkeynes #britishenglish Another full plate - coronation chicken which was marinated with curry. There was a hint of curry and the chicken was roasted well - unfortunately, not much flavor. Finished with the help of ketchup. Need more flavor, more salt would make a big difference. Another great night with my European coworkers! I probably drank my whole year of alcohol in this short trip. #miltonkeynes #britishfood #coronationchicken

I have been here quite a few times on and off over the years, some good, some not so good memories. But changes in the last few years have seen the Swan up it's game. Firstly the welcome was fantastic - very friendly, we were shown to our seats. It's a cost, low beamed place so great in winter, especially with the log fires that they keep going . We ordered drinks and they arrived very quickly after ordering, a welcome change from other places I have been to recently. We chose from the lunch specials menu - 2 courses for £12.95, pretty good value for MK. There was a slight delay for our starters to arrive - smoked beetroot and mascarpone cream, an odd combination. Tbh, I did not get much smoke from the beetroot so it was a bit disappointing. But ok as it goes. Main course came just as we needed it, and was freshly cooked (the proper way not microwaved!) haddock and gruyere fishcakes with a tomato and spinach sauce - yum!!! We decided to miss dessert (have to watch the calories this early in the week) but again they had decaffeinated espresso and serve after dinner drinks with Maltesers - bliss :). All of this with great service. It was my friend's first time there, and she will definitely go back as will I :)

I came to visit my family and we decided to go out for Sunday lunch, we wasn’t disappointed with our meals. We choose roast Turkey, which was all cooked perfectly Also you can bring your dog inside too which is great plus too! I’ll definitely be back again, next time I’m in the area 10/10

Such a cute little pub! First time visiting and was a lovely Monday sunny dinner. Loved the interior, the staff were great and the food was delicious! Opted for the burger and friend got a steak, which we both really enjoyed. Will definitely stop by again:)

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this enchanting restaurant, again with a bunch of friends and it was a delightful experience as always. I used the venue as a catch up session with some of my friends and colleagues. Loved the cozy ambiance and welcoming atmosphere and everything felt very charming. With the food, our biggest conundrum was what do we order next, as I have been there before I tried a few of the stuff and it all looked and tastes great. The menu offered an exquisite blend of flavors, crafted with the freshest ingredients and I like to try different dishes every time I’m there and it always tastes fresh and great. The attentive and knowledgeable staff made the dining experience extraordinary, guiding me through the menu with personalized recommendations. This restaurant is a gem, where love and dedication shine through in every aspect. I highly recommend visiting this absolute gem in Woughton on the Geeen. Thanks Charlotte for inviting us x

We love to dine out as a family. It has been a long time since we have actual dined in a restaurant that ticked every single box. This had a local pub feel and the pub/restaurant was very busy. However it wasn't your rowdy noisy feel but that of a family atmosphere with a cosy feel to it. We was seated at our table and felt relaxed. Our waitress was friendly, full of good banter, and knew her drinks and food. Our food arrived and timings were perfect. The quality of food was unbelievable. Flavours exploded and tantalised the taste buds. If I had to fault them only thing think should be changed is to bring kids meal out first. Apart from that absolutely amazing. Everything was excellent. We had an amazing evening and will definitely be back. Update.... we have been back numerous times since this initial visit and we really can't fault the place. Professional friendly service like the good old days. Food is second to none. Since this post we have always had little ones food brought out first.

Jess was a really good waitress, sorted everything perfectly and it's important as we are local people using the business so food has to be good for the price and it was excellent, the whole team were really good. Local pub does what it says on the menu . Please use we don't want to loose more pubs.. thanks The manager has a very good system as well she looks after the young and old so well keep doing that it was very noticeable. ..will be back

Ya Olde Swan is truly exceptional. Sylvia, the pub manager, consistently provides outstanding service with a warm smile that truly sets this place apart. The food is fantastic, and the location is simply stunning. The pub garden, has many trees and greenery, offers an amazing setting for a memorable visit. Your time at this pub is guaranteed to be wonderful.

We come here all the time, always a good experience. We often see Cheryl who is very attentive and helpful. Food is good and well priced I'd say, quite a good variety and there's often a few things that are a little different. The interior is pleasant and there's a good beer garden outside. The only downside is that it can be quite dark at some of the tables inside, there could be a bit more lighting away from the windows.

It was a lovely pub that we hadn't booked a seat for on a Sunday but they managed to fit us in. Service was amazing and staff was friendly and the food was delicious. Food came out really quickly. Would recommend to other people

I usually love this pub.. it's a beautiful building with gorgeous food & a wonderful atmosphere. However, this night was less than impressive and all due to the woman behind the bar. We weren't allowed to sit where we wanted to..??? I guess as it was almost empty at 9.30 pm, they'd already cleaned that area, so had to sit near the bar. That was ok as there was a wonderful group of people that we interacted with. However, the bar maid/manager (not sure who she was) wanted to leave early because she wanted to go home to Northampton. She rang the bell and asked us to leave before normal time so felt pressured to get out. She wasn't very welcoming & felt we had to get out. Shame, because this is usually a fantastic pub. Hoping this is a one-off, but this woman was a misery! I would say please go to this beautiful pub, & pray she's not there. Good luck... x

First visit to Ye old Swan but won’t be our last. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, food was excellent (we had roasts) nothing was too much trouble and it’s dog friendly too. It’s not often these days that pubs tick every box so a very well done to the whole team. We will be back!

Lovely meal today for Fathers Day. Served by Cheryl, who was attentive and very efficient. Food was good, only 4 stars as my prawns were slightly tough. Always enjoy our visits to the Swan, even for just a drink, in the garden.

We went here as a party of 4, we pre booked to avoid disappointment and based on how busy it was would say that this is the best option. This beautiful place has gorgeous tranquil surroundings and is very homely when entering. Even though we booked, we still had a short wait for our table. This was not an issue as it was so busy. The staff were very friendly and helpful with great knowledge of the menu, and were very promt in gathering our order. The food came and it was absolutely fantastic, all four of our dishes were delicious and had very healthy portions, absolutely great value for money and clearly a lot of care and attention had been put in to the preparation of them. I highly recommend visiting here and will certainly visit again.
