Very friendly place with a good varied menu. Lots of appetising cakes and savouries. Licensed too, had a nice drink. Very recommended. Feature evenings look good. Tasty Tapas.
Regular visitor to Nikitas when in the area, in fact the warm welcome makes this our first stop. Honest value for money, home baking and enjoy our breakfast here frequently. Never afraid to tell Nikita or her staff if there are things we dislike, they’re very accommodating and will happily substitute things for you. Great mix of people come into Nikitas, it’s got a nice atmosphere where visitors and locals mix well and it’s dog friendly too. The tapas nights are a treat and now Sunday lunches are being offered, two Sundays a month, and I can’t wait to sample them.
Gorgeous food, really good coffee and amazing cake. Also great service. A real gem. Everything is so fresh, even home made baked beans!! The scones are the best.
Called this Sunday morning and got an Americano & cappuccino & a fruit scone to take out, everything was excellent, as was the service.
Visited this place while on holiday in the area. Had a chicken and chorizo pie with seasonal veg. Outstanding food and service. Very friendly staff. We explained we were only in the area for a day but would be back a week later. The breakfast was recommended so we returned. Again outstanding all locally sourced food and home made baked beans. Our new favorite place in the lakes.
Maybe they could deliver cakes to Newcastle???
What a lovely place! Nikita suggested a variation on their all day vegan breakfast to make it gluten free for me, and it was a delicious meal, and very good value too. The atmosphere was very friendly. Altogether a top place!

I had a delightful vegan breakfast, one of the best I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back for Friday night tapas, and they’ve an Irish theme for March. Love it.
Absolutely loved all the choice of brownies and cupcakes on my first visit yesterday... I wanted to take them all home! The staff are really friendly and all the treats I bought were delicious, I’ll definitely going back!
