Great days fishing. Loads of fish moving and caught 3 fish over 5lb. Managed 15 in total after 3 hours of fishing. Great lake!
The apricot cake was excellent. Well worth detouring off the motorway.
Very pleasant and clean slight traffic noise from the m 6 tea room closed at the moment but again looks good from the outside great view of the fishing lake from the pitch
Went for a friend's birthday tea. Food and drinks served in the open air as it was a sunny day. Nice cakes and ice cream, good cup of tea. Could have done with a couple of lidded bins to put the paper cups and wrappings in. Nice location

Nice fishery and not too deep so a floating line is all that’s needed, the wind at this fishery plays a big part as the fish here tend to follow it and shoal up, makes for a better day when there is not much wind or it’s blowing in various directions as then everyone has a chance, otherwise one rod

Lovely place to have a coffee and snack after purchasing you garden plants. Caravan site looks nice but know nothing about the fishing. Local company

Hi just stopped to have tea and cake and it was really nice will go back again also really good little garden centre with lots of good value plants down side they don't accept any card payment so will have to go to the bank next time before we go
Very relaxed atmosphere, beautiful views, great tea room very popular, friendly site, clean, good for children and dogs, lakes for fly fishing, plenty of places to visit, good walking area
Lovely sunny morning spent sat outside in the sunshine having a delicious bacon bun and coffee with a hot buttered scone in a paper bag to take home .So clean quiet and safe 5 star experience !!!!!
