Incredible. Food is outstanding and the menu has all allergies clearly marked on all dishes. Plenty of choice, even for my lactose and gluten intolerance. Dog friendly. Excellent coffee.
Has a wide range of breakfast and small dishes. Vegetarian & vegan options are marked on the menu - awesome! The outside area is nice and quiet.
Coffee was tasty, but personally for me, just not hot enough.. Coleslaw, salad was tasty, a little disappointed with the bread, one slice was a little hard, like it had been left out for a while and £2.50 for those few bits of Chirizo was in my opinion a little steep for how much you got.. Great atmosphere though and a lovely place..
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Heaven Scent with my partner and elderly parents for an afternoon tea experience, and I have to say, it was absolutely delightful. The atmosphere was charming and welcoming, with beautifully presented cakes and sandwiches quickly adorning our table.
The highlight of the experience, however, was the impeccable service provided by the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable and satisfied with our experience. Every detail was carefully attended to, and our afternoon tea was presented to us with flair and elegance.
The sandwiches were delicious and freshly made, with a variety of fillings that catered to all of our tastes. The cakes were simply divine, with a range of flavour's and textures that tantalised the taste buds. We were all thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and the presentation.
Overall, I would highly recommend Heaven Scent for anyone looking for a wonderful afternoon tea experience. The staff were fantastic, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We will certainly be back again soon!
I'm always happy when there's an opportunity to pop into this great cafe. The staff are lovely and the food and surroundings are great. Lots of care taken over sourcing and thoughtful menu options. The toast with potato scone, black pudding and poached egg is a perfect brunch option.
Sometimes you just hit lucky and today was one of those days. Tremendous café if you're in the area - great food and really friendly staff. Looked to be doing a roaring trade in afternoon teas, but be aware that, as it's good, it can be busy, so much so that one needs to pass by The Clipboard before one can be seated. You can take out if they're full; I have the cakes to prove it. Will very happily come back...
Pro tip: parking directly outside is ... limited, but there's a free public car park 150m away...
Coffee was fine, cake ok too. Most of the staff were very lovely but one was particularly rude and had she been serving us we would not have stayed. Also not that geared up for kids, we weren't offered a highchair for example. Wouldn't rush back.
I’ve been coming here for years but since the pandemic only been once and didn’t enjoy it. So when passing today we decided to drop back in. I was so glad we did. The food was back to what it used to be. The soup is lentil and the sandwiches are back. The cake is also amazing as were the scones. The place was busy and still Nicky decorated. They have put the layout back to what it was too.
Since I went I have also passed in for take out and that was fab. Sandwiches in a box with salad a coleslaw and the cake in individual boxes. I should of asked for a fork if I’d know of the extras in the box
Great breakfast, excellent coffee, lovely atmosphere and staff. Cakes and scones look amazing too. Good kids menu! A solid 5* rating.
Looks lovely, great cake and savoury selection on display and happy to provide a take away coffee.
