Going to rebukes this amazing place again… because it’s awesome!
Had a lovely meal, amazing food, lovely staff and a great time overall.
I left VERY full but very happy.
Go visit, but remember it’s tiny and so is the kitchen, so don’t be one of those annoying people who moans at the staff because yo
Country pub with a nice beer garden, spotless toilets and the biggest selection of cheeses I've ever seen.
Well kept cask ales.
They even have dog friendly ice cream.
There's also a book exchange in the adjacent former phone box.
Visited several times this year with a party of friends for lunch.
Highly recommend the pork pie and cheese platters and the 3 from the board choices. Chunky chips are delicious and the pies are full to the top.
Very friendly Staff.
Small but perfectly formed traditional pub.
Lovely garden.
Great friendly pub in lovely location, fantastic cheeseboards with probably around 30 cheeses (my guess) to choose from, nachos and pork pies. Good choice of ales, wines and spirits particularly whiskies and all fairly priced for the quality and portion size received.
Had a lovely cheese board and beers. The lady was really welcoming and friendly. We had a 2 cheese ploughman's with a pork pie and it was definitely enough for 2. We also has 2 of the small bits which were really nice, salt and pepper squid and mushrooms .
Really nice and peaceful and a good size ca

Nice cool garden on hit day, good food and beer. Obvious staff shortage meant long wait for food, one hour. Seems to be a problem most places at moment. So 4 star in spite of this.
Really really like this pub, often visit for lunch or a drink when out walking in the local countryside. Excellent cheese always
Very welcoming place. Small and cozy but has a great beer garden outside. The member of staff behind the bar was extremely friendly. The beer was really good and tasty great. A lovely pub to visit a day walking in the Peak District. Can't wait to return.
We had the steak pie with chips and mushy peas . A fish butty both tasted great service fantastic. Are go to place if we are near there.
Lovely unexpected stop for food and drink. Very friendly service from very busy staff. Highly recommend their pies and lamb shank.

Lovely located pub with large beer garden. Only had light bites to eat but they were lovely!
Lovely country pub with nice garden. Good selection of beers and very wide selection of food. Good portion size.
Quality little country pub with beer garden. The best bit is the opportunity to sample (and take away) their many cheeses! If you like a cheeseboard or ploughmans, this is epic! The people are lovely too.
Great food and very reasonably priced, staff were very friendly , definitely one to return too, party of four adults
A great stop on our long hike. Quick service and dog friendly too which is always a huge bonus!
Thoroughly enjoyed a lovely rural pub, friendly staff and great value food. Not just cheese but pork pies, liver and onions etc. Highly recommend it.
