Deanos has got back to being the best chippy in town again, Nice size portions of great food at a great price and a delivery is cheaper than the other Chippy in town, well worth the money
Great fish and chips from here this weekend! Gravy was nice and the curry sauce wasn’t too strong. Service was a little slow was it was with a smile 😃

Really good fish, scampi and chips from here last night. The chips were the best I've had anywhere in years and the service was quick in the shop. I might have to go back later this week before heading back down south.
Had Pie and Chips from Deano’s on a Saturday night. Was busy which I always think is a good thing. Had the Chicken pie and it was amazing the best I’ve ever had from a chippy and chips were nice not greasy at all. Would highly recommend this place.
Lovely fish and chips and always get big portions- definitely worth the money. Sometimes a long wait on a busy night but that’s expected. Staff are always lovely and welcoming.

Menu selection was good including kids food which was also a hit with our fussy 8yr old.

Wow. Best chips EVER! EVER EVER EVER. Every chip was crispy even after wrapped to take away. No steamed soggy chips. The products used must be top quality.
My mum is over 80 and her favourite meal on holiday is fish and chips. She has also worked in chip shops and she said Deanos has been the best of her life!
I know taste is subjective but go get a portion if you can! Just leave some for me!
Best Chippy for miles! Good, clean oil is used which you can tell by the taste. Yes it gets busy but well worth the wait. Just moved to Millom so it’ll be our regular choice.
Deano's knows how to do it, you don't need a big place, just a big queue. Fresh fish & crispy batter, decent chips and excellent value.
You may have to wait a while for your order to be prepared, but that's to be expected from a proper chippy! Enjoy
'Cosy' chippy. A little difficult to find as not from the area. They need bigger signs. Really nice food. All cooked fresh. Steak pie is home made, u get a good sized portion. Fish was lovely, batter was really crispy. They even have salt and vinegar on the counter to buy, which was great as we forgot to bring ours camping with us. 5☆s
Excellent food, was not expecting it to be soooooo good.
We did have to wait an hour for food, weren't told this as we placed the order! Quality of food lessened our tempers.
Would have been 5 stars if they had just been polite enough to say "Just to let you know, it will be an hours wait. Enjoy the coastline and come back in 50 minutes "
Best fish and chips in the local area for a reasonable price. Also do burgers, sausages and scampi. For the kids they do kids boxes which includes nuggets/fish, chips, lolly and drink (Note these drinks made my kids go crazy due to the E numbers, personally I’d prefer it if they charged slightly more and got an orange squash) it’s a small site but a you often get a big welcome from the staff.
Great chippy. Proper Cumberland widows' memories (chippy sausage). And good portions. Gravy was decent and not brown cornflour cement.
Wonderful food at great prices. I would highly recommend this establishment and we will definitely go again.
