The summer weather may be miserable but the welcome at the Lazy Lion was warm and friendly, and the Sunday roast was excellent. Both beef and pork were delicious, lovely gravy, fluffy Yorkshire puddings. The desserts looked tempting too, but we were too full to manage one!
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at The Lazy Lion. The host was hilarious, the serving team friendly and efficient, and the food was delicious. I had superb Moules Marinères, the sauce was the right balance of creamy & garlicky, with a good flavoured stock. My friends loved their pies,and said the gravy was particularly good. The beer was apparently not so good, and the white wine was as all pub wine seems to be, just not up to the standard of the food. However, we would definitely visit again, and I highly recommend it.
Extremely welcoming host, linen table knapkins in a pub restaurant, superb! Tidy place, smart menu with a decent choice of foods. Excellent burgers.
Our third visit and what a fantastic experience.
Popped in on the off chance for Sunday lunch with friends. Hadn't booked which is firmly recommended but with a commitment to be done in 1 hour a table was found. The host was amazingly friendly without being intrusive, we weren't rushed but service was attentive and quick. Food was spot on, hot, fresh, perfectly prepared and resulted in 4 empty plates. Would have loved a dessert but too stuffed from the main, so next time.

After a nice long Sunday morning walk with our dog we went to The Lazy Lion for some breakfast. The breakfast was not only delicious, but also really nicely presented. Our coffee and cappuccino were nice and hot and the milk it came with was hot, too, which was great, keeping our drinks hot for longer. The staff was very friendly, too, can’t fault anything and we would definitely visit again.
Lovely interior, tables well spaced out and room to move. Food exceptional ie Sunday roast was the best ever. The Landlord was friendly and interactive and staff very polite and helpful. Highly recommend and we will definitely be going back soon

Excellent fast friendly service. Really fresh tasty food. Clean and light surroundings. Quaint looking pub from the outside, totally different inside. Huge sunny garden behind for dining.
Amazing pub food! Highly recommend! The owner has top banter and is super friendly and welcoming to all his guests. The outdoor dining is great.. it gets the sun and there's a fire pit for the colder evenings. Highly recommend the fish as a main & a white - the chefs great! Can't wait to return!
A quieter night apparently according to my family, but nonetheless the food was fantastic. Smaller menu but everything cooked to perfection and so tasty, pies as they should be!
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights on 10/11/22 what a lovely surprise it was ...Amazing friendly staff our room was lovely clean and very good 3 nights sleep. Breakfast was lovely and cooked to perfection especially the sausages yum yum 😊 we had dinner there once and everything was just as lovely. Ian the owner was great funny and always there to serve us etc ...also Debbie we see the most was lovely ...and of course rest of staff I didn't get to know as much were amazing too. Will deffo stay here if and when we return to Milford on sea which was also lovely. Thumbs up guys from us 👍👍👍👍👍.

Also mentioned we were doing a 80th birthday tea party for my father and needed some cake stands. With that he gave us the middle part for the stand and gave use advices how to make our own. Would we come back? Definitely YES!!!!
The pies we had were absolutely delicious, this was one meat and one vegetarian. While pretty full after our main meal we felt we wanted to try the American style pancakes and sharing one between two was the way to go and it was the right decision. There was a choice of real ales and other drinks.
Walked past this place a few times over the last few years, could never decide weather to go in or not, didnt seem right. So popped in for a beer and have a look round.!
A really great welcome, a very attentive and busy staff makes this place stand out. !!
Going back tomorrow night for dinner and maybe a couple more beers. !!.
Stopped by for something to eat after a day walking by the sea.
It was early evening, and the pub was busy, but they found me a table.
Considering the number of people eating there, the food was brought surprisingly quickly and was superior pub food quality.
The staff were cheerful and friendly.
Will definitely go back next time I'm in the area.

Great food! We were on our bikes so sat in the garden, so we could keep an eye on the bikes. We were also very grateful for the local advice on the best cycle routes - Thanks.
