Impromptu anniversary lunch.....Well we couldn't of done better! What a fantastic meal. How can you have so much amazing food for such a small price on the lunch special. My husband tried haggis for the first time and absolutely adored it. We both really enjoyed the roasted sea bass, which was cooked to perfection and accompanied by a fantastic lobster sauce. What a superb treat right on our doorstep. We highly recommend everyone to visit La Perle for a truly wonderful culinary delight.
Visited la perle for the first time yesterday evening and was not disappointed, will definitely be returning. Had a fantastic meal, lovely staff and nice relaxed ambiance, would definitely recommend.

My wife and I visited for the first time for lunch and both had the ‘surprise’ tasting menu with matched wine. I think the menu was supposed to be 6 courses with wine but ended up being 7 due to head chef, and patron of La Perle, Sam Hughes, including an extra course in our lunch because he was so pleased with some local Parma style ham and locally gown melon that he had just got in and wanted to share it with us! Sam and his team La Perle gave a first class personal service, starting with Sam coming out to greet us and asking if we had any food allergies or anything else that we did not/could not eat.
The standard of cooking is outstanding. With each course Sam came out in person and introduced the dish. Nearly all of his ingredients are locally sourced including some vegetables which he told us came from his mother’s garden!
The matched wines were each introduced by our waitress and were an excellent match for each of the courses.
My wife and I were both impressed by the skill and enthusiasm of all of the staff at La Perle but in particular Sam himself. We will most certainly be going back again and if anyone from a certain French tyre company is reading this, you need to be finding your way to this gem. It is that good!
Lovely small restaurant by the sea. Lovely warm welcome. Nice choice of dishes and using local produce too. Food was delicious, lots of flavour and presentation was beautiful. Highly recommend a visit
Wonderful food and service as always! Nice touch to have a Congratulations card on table waiting for us. (They had asked when booking if it was a special occasion). Any issue or change you may have/want, they are always keen to please. Definitely recommend

Lovely warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Fresh, tasty food, beautifully presented. Excellent personal attention from Sam Hughes, the chef, who came to my table to discuss the gluten free options with me. Can't fault the place, the food or the service. A lovely belated birthday treat from my sister :)
Delightful relaxed atmosphere. Well cooked, very tasty food that was full of flavour. As we ate each course we started to anticipate how good the next would taste. A good value wine list. Great service too. All the ingredients of a lovely dining experience. We’ll be back soon.

Visited Sunday for my birthday celebrations with my family, delicious food (they Pre prepared a vegan menu for myself and gf, with a choice between 2 dishes per course) will recommend to friends etc to visit and will visit again (will phone ahead to prepare you la Perle) thank you again for accommodating our dietary requirements
What an absolute find, a real gem. Really relaxed environment with very pleasant and helpful staff. Delicious food with interesting flavours. The chef/patron Sam is a delightful young man. When I asked the waitress how the chef prepared the very tasty couscous which accompanied a very delicious pork dish, they indicated he would come out and tell us, true to his word he did. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening, we'll be back.
Treated my husband to lunch yesterday. Glad we booked as all tables taken � Always a lovely atmosphere. Food a delight, beautifully presented. All came out at the right time. I had previously enjoyed a raspberry bomb, this time we had the Amaretto semiFreddo, wow, so delicious. Totally recommend.
Found a real gem last night. Totally amazing meal. Excellent quality food and extremely unique menu. Staff were very attentive and helpful. My husband and I were very impressed. One our top 5 restaurants. Highly recommended.
Perfect accompaniment to a lovely evening on the beach. Chunky chips, crisp outside and fluffy inside; nice piece of fish; mushy peas. Spot on!

Mushroom arancino as pre-starter was flavorful but a bit mushy. Excellent bread.
Very tasty gravlax on a bed of tasteless spinach with Swedish style sweet mustard sauce. Blini doesn’t add. Skip leaves and blini and substitute with thin Danish or Åland style rye instead. Add pickled fennel or similar?
Crispy chunky sea bass on a bed of semi mashed potatoes and braised broccoli over a deep rich bisque with crayfish bits. Balanced and tasty throughout. Spot on.
Tortellini with intense mushroom in cream plus plentiful almost char-grilled broccoli tenderstem. Very good.
Tried both deserts, very different but both excellent. Crunchy side splrinkle boosted both.
Had four different wines by the glass. White pecorino was excellent, crisp and fresh. NZ Sauv Blanc tasted like a Riesling but OK. Two reds, Syrah and Malbec, were not impressive, both bland and ethanol dominating.
Service was excellent. Overall very happy.
Hidden gem. I had the spring tasting menu and was not expecting how good it was! Arrived around noon with only a few people there but within an hour it was pretty full - the service however did not suffer. Will definitely return.
Great food at a good price, they even brought it over to us waiting in the park. Very covid safe :)
What an amazing meal, best meal I've had in years.
Fresh Fillet Steak (clearly not frozen at any point) cooked perfectly, my partners Wild Mushroom & Truffle Ravioli excellent had the Sticky Toffee Pudding for desert, Wow.

Ordered a takeaway for 4 of us for my birthday and we certainly weren't disappointed. Despite traveling from the restaurant in Milford to New Milton the food was piping hot and beautifully cooked. Three of us had the fish and chips (it was Tuesday fish & chip night) which was tasty with no sign of grease. The chips were crispy on the otside and fluffy inside. We had sides of duck spring rolls- which my daughter said were the best she'd ever had; the red cabbage slaw was amazing and we had never tasted such lovely mushy peas. Will definitely be using this restaurant again.
Ordered takeaway, they phoned to let us know they were running 10 mins late which was no problem at all. Absolutely stunning food, generous portions. Couldn't fault it at all. Arrived hot with a friendly and chatty lady. Wine is delicious too. Will definitely be ordering again. Would give them more than 5 stars if I could. Just stunning!

Such an amazing experience dealing with you guys, it was so easy and much quicker than expected but most of all your burgers, coleslaw, chunky chips and halloumi were absolutely fab and hot ! We actually felt like we were sitting in a restaurant enjoying your delicious food ! such a welcome change from the normal takeaways we all normally choose. I so hope you carry on with this format and am looking forward to trying other meals from your menu. Thank you so much. You just made us feel we were almost out dining !!
My partner and I absolutely love this place. We have visited three times and each time has been faultless. The restaurant is cosy with good acoustics and never feels crowded even though it's always busy. Service is lovely, very friendly and personal without being overbearing. Great selection of wines at very reasonable prices. Most of all, we have never eaten anything in here that has been anything short of divine. Don't be put off by the relatively small menu, whatever you order will be completely delicious and they are often flexible with off-menu requests.
First impressions count and this fab little place certainly didn't disappoint!
The service is faultless and the food is freshly prepared with local ingredients. The à la carte menu is small but includes meat, fish and vegetarian options. All beautifully cooked and presented.
There are set prices for 2 or 3 courses. Not the cheapest, however, definitely worth it.
The ambience is relaxing and the staff are attentive without making one feel rushed.
Make sure to book a table in advance as this little gem of a restaurant is unsurprisingly busy.
I will definitely be booking again!
A truly excellent restaurant! We had a fantastic evening celebrating my Dad’s Birthday. The food was incredible – interesting without being pretentious and simple enough to let the ingredients sing for themselves. (One of the best steaks I have eaten in a long while…!) A well-thought out menu with the perfect amount of choice (i.e. not too much!). A nice selection of wines too. The staff were very friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. Can’t wait to visit again!
As a change to the usual chinese/Indian takeaway we gave La Perle a try due to the great reviews. We weren't disappointed! We ordered a cheese burger and bacon cheese burger with chips and they were cooked to perfection! We loved our meal and to have a top end takeaway during lockdown was bliss! The portion sizes were plenty big enough, food arrived hot and at the time we ordered for. The only thing we discussed was that it was a shame they didn't have any options for children, but that won't put us off returning :-)
What a fantastic evening at La Perle!! The food is truly amazing and the wine that was chosen for us was absolutely superb. Myself and my wife went on a Tuesday evening for the French themed food evening and it was perfect from start to finish. It was very busy but a great atmosphere and the waitress attention to detail was a spot on. I can't wait to go back and I would recommend this little restaurant to everyone. Well done La Perle!
What a great place! Great food, cooked to order. Warmly greated, and really friendly, also loved the owners cheeky nature to create atmosphere and report with customers. An absolute delight, can't wait for them to open fully so we get the full experience
We had the 6 course tasting menu courtesy of a Groupon, at lunchtime, and it was amazing. The chef here knows what he is doing and the front of house staff are attentive and competent. Each dish included local, seasonal sustainable ingredients, including vegetables harvested from the chef's own mothers garden. There were some classic combinations and some interesting dishes, and the wine pairings with each dish were superb! I cant wait to return!
Fantastic! Our first LP delivery tonight (we used to enjoy fairly regular dinners inside), and we were not disappointed. Arrived hot and on time. One of the best take out dinners that we have had during this pandemic. Thank you!
