We had a lovely meal here, 2 very hungry children needed feeding! Service was excellent, from the moment we arrived we felt very welcome and well looked after. The beers were great and we all enjoyed our meals, the steak pie was very good.
Rooms are simple but nicely furnished. Plenty of choice on the dinner menu and staff were happy to provide recommendations when asked. Always a pleasant surprise to find homemade desserts as so many are bought in. I was also leaving before breakfast so was provided with a lovely packed lunch to take
Visited for Sunday Lunch . Have been several times and have found the food excellent. Staff were friendly. No hesitation in recommending the food. Will definitely be back 5*

The Red Lion Team ran the bar for our wedding down the road in College Valley and we've also visited the pub for a drink. Lovely place and great staff. We received a lovely warm welcome and were well looked after, with a nice selection of ales and spirits. I can personally recommend the steak in ale pie, full of t
Lovely and friendly place. Great food and service! Had a flatbread and wife had a gluten free fish and chips which she loved. Thanks again. Locals were on fine form. :)

We met here as Family to have lunch for my brothers birthday. We were a party of 10. The service was really good, relaxed but attentive. Everyone enjoyed their meal especially the steak and ale pie. I particularly loved the home cooked chips. Nothing was a bother for the staff. I would highly recomm
