Beautiful venue with stylish decor, superb food and great staff! Large gardens too. Destination venue - we’ll worth a visit!
Staff and atmosphere was great but food was underwhelming. The chips that came with our dishes were oily and over-cooked. My bacon cheeseburger came with one burned rasher of bacon and the patty was very tough, and the bun was either stale or over toasted.
In this completely revamped village pub the cooking is flavourful and modern, the portions generous, the pricing spot on. The intimate (30 covers) restaurant, complete with four bar seats at the chef's table, deserves full marks for atmosphere. There are pub classics with a twist (venison burger) an
I liked this pub when I first visited in 2020. Since then it’s been taken over and improved on every level. I’m so glad more is being made of the huge garden. Unbeatable on a sunny day. The staff were all lovely and the food we chose was terrific. Thank you.
Fantastic menu and food. Able to cater for dietary requirements as standard with a great selection. Visited for a work do and then had to return with the family shortly after as was so good. Beautifully decorated - nice vibe. Highly recommend.
Had a look at the Sunday lunch menu and it also looks de
A refreshed review required, as the pub has been considerably spruced up!
The inside is immaculate, slightly modern (OK the bar is modern) yet cosy and just right. A special mention to the toilets as they are beautiful!
Staff are amazing. Attentive and on the ball, friendly yet businesslike. A
Second Sunday lunch visit to The Horseshoe Inn... Fair to share my experience. Food is gorgeous. Was gutted previous starter of chicken parfait with brioche toast was not on, but alas not, deep fried squid with Kimchi mayo was a triumph.. followed by pork belly with cauliflower tartiflett, Yorkie, r
Lovely evening meal. The lamb was exceptional, great service.. Can't fault in any way.
We walked from the Savernake Forest to the pub, which had come highly recommend, and rightfully so! I had the veggie burger, beetroot etc, which was excellent. My wife had the fish and chips, which she loved. Lovely pint, lovely freshly renovated pub. We've booked to go back for Sunday lunch, and we
Nice pub, good food and atmosphere. We had a sunday lunch and it was great, except for the chicken, which was a bit dry. Overall, it was very good.
Great place to come for a drink with a lovely atmosphere.
A great menu with excellent food.
Always feel welcome by the batman.
Well recommended.

Excellent Wiltshire village pub. Very friendly and comfortable. Gloriously fresh, delicious food and a good selection of drinks too.
Top notch. Highly recommend.
Very nice quiet location not in the centre of Marlborough but just this side of town.
Great big open field behind the pub with tables. Great for kids to run around and burn off energy.
Lovely food. Good staff.
Popped in just passing, and so glad we did as it was an amazing!! Absolutely outstanding food and everything cooked to perfection!! And all locally sourced, Best we've had in the area. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, made us feel very welcome, even with our weird drinks requests 😂 Als
Sunday lunch for 4. Great atmosphere. Delicious food. Friendly service. Before we'd finished the children were already asking when we could come back! Lovely setting too - after lunch we took the children for a short walk through the village to the local playground, which they loved. Special thanks
We had a family birthday dinner here - food was good, children were happy. They enjoyed trying the small plates. The staff were attentive to our allergy issue as well.
Oh my the food in this pub was beautiful, everything we had was cooked perfectly and tasted lovely 😁
