So much more than a great fish & chip shop!
We ate in the restaurant last night & it was terrific. On arrival upstairs, you immeadiatly notice the light, bright room set with Linen tablecloths & napkins, spotlessly clean glasses & such a warm, friendly welcome.

Superb fish and chips , but a varied menu available too, catering for people with specific dietary requirements . Friendly welcoming staff and loved the decor , many artistic touches. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend , hope to come again when I stay with family in the area again . Excellent, thank you
Wonderful starter from the specials board. Unfortunately the plaice in crumbs was overcooked. The crumb being very dark in colour and brittle.
This is our favourite place for fish and chips, quite THE best in the area, and such friendly staff, highly recommend.

We had a spectacularly yummy dinner here yesterday evening. The sweetest little mussels in a really tasty sauce, a lovely fresh, tasty dressed crab, and a dish of three fish platter. Great atmosphere and friendly service. We are so lucky to have them in the village.
I enjoyed the fish and chips I ate upstairs in the restaurant. It's all freshly cooked so there is a wait. Pleasant waitress service. Trying to remember but think they only open from Wednesday. Worth a visit. I will go back at some point but governed by buses as I've no car.

Friendly, immaculately clean in the upstairs restaurant, really crisp batter. Very good cod with choice of size, more chips given if wanted 🐷 wickedly yum puds. Much to our delight our clothes didnt have that whiff of having been to the chippy afterwards. It really was very good. Thanks
Downstairs a typical fish & chip shop BUT upstairs they have a restaurant that seats about 30 people. This is well worth a visit everything is fresh the staff are very helpful and a good menu.
