All as you'd expect from a wetherspoons in terms of drinks and food. We went on a Thursday and had curry. No complaints here, it was yummy. Really good outside seating area and interesting decor inside. As wetherspoons go, I'd say this is a particularly good one!!

Update 4* Actually have ketchup now. Food still good but was very busy Original 3* The food was nice but had no ketchup which ruined it a bit but I like how there are areas of this pub that are quiet and out of the way which helps when having a meeting here with someone. The acoustics are bad here the sound bounces around making it loud so then people get to talk louder to hear each other and it just gets worse so if you're sensitive to loud noise I recommend finding a quieter area or visit during quieter times. I do like this wetherspoon but feel out of all the ones they have this one I can't really see anything that shows what the building was originally used for like all the other wetherspoon pubs I've been to.

I went there with a friend for a late lunch of fish and chips where we got a nice discount because it was after 2pm. The fish was a satisfyingly good size portion of juicy cod in a nice crispy batter, and the chips were cooked well and a proper good sized chip as well. It came with nice juicy peas and a lemon wedge. I had their mild curry sauce to pour over the chips. We both had coffee for the free refill after the meal ;-)

You know what you're getting in weatherspoons. This one is always busy, but you'll only struggle for a table on a Friday or Saturday night. The pizzas are the best thing on the menu.

On a quiet time on a Wednesday afternoon (just before schools out) I visited this now well established venue for a late lunch. There's a 'Beer Festival' in progress and more ale pumps than usual are available. Being on the Cask Marque AleTrail, all those beers on offer should be in prime condition. The first beer I tried, Butcombe Gold (4.4%ABV, the tasting notes mention, inter-alia, 'vitality,' 'mellowness in character,' and a 'rounded bittersweet finish') which I thought a right load of cobblers. The beer was a decent drop and was indeed in prime condition. My lunch, a well seasoned and spicy Beef Madras curry was a step up from the usual (rather bland) pub curries, the beef being particularly good having been given a thorough pounding before the cook. This and the beer, I received change from eight quid. Service was prompt, staff were attentive - I was well pleased with my timing, meal and visit. Sometimes, Spoons visits can be a somewhat raucous and crowded experience. This suits some, others prefer a more dignified encounter. Timing is everything. I finished with a pint of Greene King's Ruddles, 3.7%ABV and again, the compiler of the tasting notes waxed lyrical about 'Berry flavour' 'toffee/caramel' and 'crystal meths'..........sorry, misread that, 'crystal malt' but there definitely is much more flavour to this beer, even though being of a lower ABV1

My Wife and I often pop in to this pub come restaurant for either breakfast, lunch and dinner. Every time, the service is super quick and the food and drinks are exactly as expected. We choose to use their app to avoid the waiting times at the bar. The Palladium Electric really do have it going for themselves with customer focus at the forefront! Thank you! Neil

Great place, drinks were slow as they had a delivery and back log of food orders but when we asked we went to the bar and collected straight away really great food good price so what's not to like.

Nice breakfast, nice staff, only one tiny gripe, please warm the plates as the food gets cold quickly. Other than that well done.

Staff are very welcoming. I've never been disappointed with the food they serve, excellent value for money!

This is a place I visit a lot since it's opening about 4 years ago. You get good value for money. However standards of service are slightly going down. Cleanliness too needs to get back to what it was when it started. I am not sure this is because of staff shortages, however things need to change before it gets worse.

Just popped in for a cup of tea on our way to Bristol, seems a fairly good Spoons, decent range of beers at the bar, very nice looking garden and clean toilets. South Road car park just behind is free and has loads of space.

Love coming here after a swim session with the kids. Just a short walk away from the pool. Always a good buzz about the place.

Great place for the family to eat on a Sunday when most places are closed. Cheap fast and good food.
