The room (14, in the cottage) is well appointed and is an accessible option in the hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and made sure we were aware that they did a continental breakfast due to the kitchen being currently closed. Bar staff were equally attentive and wanted to check everything was OK. The room is well decorated and was clean and comfortable and the bathroom fresh and tidy. The walk-in shower was good on its temperature selection and was powerful enough. The bed was enormous and comfy. Midhurst appeared to be extremely quiet, as there was only one other couple at the restaurant we chose. We would stay there again. Hopefully, within the current climate, they can re-open the kitchen because the overheads of maintaining the Angel to its current standards must be high and it would be a shame to lose that gem on the main street through the town. (We did stay on a Thursday)

This used to be a drinking pub for my sister so was interesting to see how it has changed. It is more of a tea rooms during the day with a very small menu and limited hot food options. Food was delicious - although not much bread with the ploughman's which is strange as bread is the cheapest part. Wine was good and the staff super friendly and helpful. Would go again but might ask for more bread next time.

Absolutely beautiful pub with friendly staff, great food and nice beer. Rooms are very comfortable and cosy. So much to see and do nearby. Can't wait to return soon. Recommended 200%

The Angel Inn, Midhurst very kindly provided us with a splendid afternoon tea. The service could not have been better. Such kind and friendly staff, who made sure we had a great experience, providing us with such delicious lemon drizzle cake! I can highly recommend this delightful hotel. 5 star in every respect!

We booked our wedding party into the hotel. The booking was handled very efficiently and the price competitive. We had an evening meal which was excellent as was breakfast. Our guests liked the comfortable quirky rooms and the history of the hotel. All staff were excellent. Thoroughly recommend the hotel.

I booked a meeting space last minute for my manager who was hosting a zoom meeting with a client. The staff could not have been more accommodating if they tried. We only needed the space for 1 hour so they gave it free of charge and reserved with only an hours notice. Great parking and great coffee! Highly recommend. Very good - staff were prepared to cook us a light lunch outside of normal hours & although it took a long time to arrive the butternut soup & macaroni cheese with smoked salmon were excellent. Recommended

Clean, comfy, great service, great breakfast....lovely decor and superb complementaries, such as ear plugs as the windows rattled in the wind ....but given the history of the building its hardly surprising. Great location and lots of parking. Would recommend

Absolutely love it here! The staff are really friendly. There is a great restaurant/pub with fab food (local and fresh seafood is amazing) and then a bar with a really nice atmosphere. The staff are so welcoming and always accommodating. We loved it here and totally would stay and eat again. Best place around!

My wife & I stayed for two nights in January. We booked in advance their accessible room with walk in shower as my wife has mobility problems. Access to the room was good as she walks short distances with sticks although it would not have been so easy if we had to use the wheelchair, possible but tricky. Access to the bar is up four steps from inside the hotel although there is level access from the street. We were made very welcome on arrival and the staff are very friendly and helpful, probably the most genuinely friendly hotel we have stayed at. The evening meals where excellent to a very high standard, as where the breakfasts. We will definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

Excellent mid price hotel. We returned to our honeymoon hotel for our 20th and 30th anniversaries for another 2x 2night stays. Big changes each decade! Now more of a hotel than a pub with rooms. Food (dinner, one night) well prepared, slight confusion in service, breakfast choices on day one were not made clear, but with different staff on day two was far more than adequate! (No kippers though, and I do love a good kipper for breakfast!) Will we stay again? Oh yes!
