The fish, battered sausage and chips were fantastic, it's the best batter I've ever had. The service was exceptional as the staff are friendly and quick. The young guy cooking is a major credit to this establishment! He adds such a personal touch by being super nice and welcoming!

Really super fish and chips - can’t recommend highly enough

Stopped at Middlewich overnight on my boat and decided to try the kings Lock chippy, First the young people serving were so friendly and then had the best fish chips mushy peas and curry I have had all year, amazing little chippy.

One of the best chippys I've been too. O ly had chips peas and gravy but it was sooooo nice, definitely going here again if I ever pass through.

First time visitor and we weren’t disappointed. Great food, great prices and very friendly staff. Food was served quickly and they took the time to talk us through some menu items. Some of the best fish and chips we’ve had (and the gravy was fab).
