First time to this hotel 🏨 and upon arrival was welcomed by a friendly staff member. The room is perfect and very clean. Food in the restaurant very good and the breakfast in the morning was "lush"

The perfect place to stay and be well looked after. Great room that was clean and spacious. Food in the bar or in the restaurant was amazing and so much to choose from. Very friendly owners and the bar staff are a credit to The Kinderton. A really hard working well organised team.

Really nice restaurant with formal dining at the front and extensive outdoor casual drinking and eating areas to the rear covered and uncovered. Service was great, very well staffed on a Saturday night and table service indoors and out via a modern call device system. Food very good and obviously fresh as a bit of a wait but worth it. Extensive menu, really nice touch to have a senior menu. Cocktails and drinks very reasonably priced for today's standards. Great live music.

Stayed here Saturday for 1 night in the area for a family party. Room 7 at the top of the house at the back. Very clean and value for money. Some noise from the beer gardens especially the pub next door around midnight. Staff very friendly all polite and quick to notice we needed assistance. Breakfast very nice only thing was we had to order the night before. Pity we couldn't change our selection from sausage bap.

Stayed with my sisters for a weekend catch up with friends what a fabulous hotel. Start first with the 2 rooms we had, spotless plenty of room our room walk in shower other room bath with shower, breakfasts where lovely cannot fault it. Food was lovely the chunky chips are highly recommended by me as are the cocktails, all 10 meals on the Saturday evening where great the staff and management go above and beyond service always with a smile. Will definitely go back to this exceptional hotel. Thanks to all for making it so enjoyable x

Had a pre ordered butter chicken curry, which sounded delicious on the menu, unfortunately although the chicken itself was nice it would have been better if actually cooked in the sauce, but as the sauce was completely tasteless and a strange thick powder mix consistency it wouldn't have helped. The 4 stars were for the staff and the service, and the place is nice but food is a let down. Such a pity???

We haven't tried the hotel, only the bar and restaurant. They have extremely friendly and welcoming staff, the place looks and feels modern and fresh, with bespoke hand-blown LED light fittings and classy, well maintained furniture and high quality luxury vinyl 'wooden' floors. The place is super clean and everything seems in good order, and the beer tastes good. They had a refurb around 5 years ago but you would be forgiven for thinking it was more recent than that, which is a testament to the management. There is plenty of air conditioned seating inside, an area attached to the main building which is covered much like a wedding marquee, and then a huge outside stone-flagged 'decking' area, half covered, half open, with a large marquee or posh tent to the far end and some tented booths to one side. They hold regular events in the 'tent' and there's a great area of wooden play apparatus for the kids to play on, as well as a miniature football pitch, which should keep most kids occupied for a good while. The grounds run all the way down to the canal's edge. The food is good. It's not write home amazing but there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. I had a "Kindo Signature Burger" which actually was super yummy, and our daughter had their fish fingers which she said were really yummy too, but the chips were just chips and the scampi was just scampi (nice enough, just nothing special... we also tried the loaded fries (on a recommendation from a friend). There were very nice - we had the cheese, bacon and BBQ chicken loaded fries. We would have preferred mayo to BBQ but the dish was nice, and would make a great accompaniment to a few drinks. A nice touch in the restaurant inside is the presence of little electronic 'service request' hubs. You can press a button for a waiter/waitress or for your bill or to let them know you've finished, and this system works well. We were served by 3 different members of staff during our meal but a 7.5% service fee was added to he bill so there was no need for a single person to attend to us. I've already been back, and will go again.

Great place, lovely lad greater us yesterday & showed up to our rooms… weather was against everyone last night, but staff still smiling & very friendly… rooms great, loved being on top floor as view over canal etc … the only downside, breakfast staff were quite rude.. never been before so didn’t know where tea & coffee & juice were, had to ask for butter for toast. So did couple sat next to us…. Apart from that 10 stars from us 👏

Booked for after wedding celebrations at the Kinderton, Ian who managed our booking was brilliant along with the team. Made sure we were looked after and even provided some bits on the house for the married couple. Amazing service and really went above and beyond for us. Would recommend for any booking or a casual drink, amazing place. Thanks again Ian and the team

What a great find! We sat in the lower marquee as had our dog but well heated and comfortable enough. Staff could not have been better- both of us, our baby (who ate free with adult meal too!) and dog welcome and we’ll looked after. Even a kids play area for family fun! Food was great quality and decent portions. An all round positive experience and would definitely visit again when next in locality!

First time I have visited the kinderton. What a pleasant surprise. Inside is so different from the outside. Clean ,trendy and super food. A gentleman called Ian served us. Told him it was our first visit and he took time out to show us the restaurant and grounds. He was very informative. Can only say I will definitely go back and well worth a visit. We'll done to Ian, the chef and staff. Keep up the good work

Visited for a friends 60th birthday and had a great time. Have driven past this venue for years, but this was my first time going in and I was pleasantly surprised - the venue was contempory in style, with lots of well trained staff on hand. It was extended at the back with permanent marquees and an open paved area, plus large play area for children. Table service for drinks and food, with a good menue and extensive drinks selection.

Recently refurbished (June 2023), this is a friendly modern welcoming pub. It's spacious inside and has a huge outdoor seating area at the back. Modern clean toilets upstairs, and does incredible fresh coffees. There is limited parking at the back, or parking in front to the right under the height restriction barrier, so campervans will have to find a space on the road or park at the back. It's a really handy location for getting to the M6 in less than 5 mins. The pub is only a 5 min walk from Middlewich centre and offers accommodation, also modern and refurbished.

Came down from the Lake District for a 40th Birthday at the Kinderton, we booked 3 rooms for the family so we could make the most of the party, all the rooms were clean, well presented and of a good size. On the evening of the 40th Birthday, we were very impressed with the outside function area, a big marquee with heating, pleanty of seating, a dance floor and best of all was the service button on each table, press the service button and someone came and took your drinks order before returning with your drinks. We were lucky enough to get the same young lad most times. Jack was like our own private table attendant and was also on duty for our excellent breakfast the next morning. All in all, a very pleasant stay in a lovely pub. Thanks to Jack and all the staff that ran round all night making sure the 40th Birthday, along with all rest of the pub were kept fed and watered. Great job, hope we didnt keep you all up too late.
