Batter was lovely,crisp and light. As a visitor from elsewhere in Manchester this is by far the best fish and chips I've ever had, and I'm a chef. Expensive but it's worth every penny.
Great chippy was taken there by a work colleague and is now a go to lunch for my food. Great selection of food.
The chips and gravy are so fresh and delicious, there is usually a que outside and for good reason, is quite exspensive Β£3 for chips and gravy.

AbsAbsolutely perfect service. Choice of batter on fish, regular or light. I choose the light batter which is cooked to perfection. Next the home made cheese and onion pie is to die for. The best home made pie I've ever had from a fish and chip shop. The menu selection is extensive and well thought out. Prices more than reasonable. Portion sizes large enough to share the chips from a full meal. I add an extra item, eg a pie
Top chippy, best around for miles, good variety on menu and good quality food. I really like that they have a mild curry and a curry with a kick, it shows they want to meet customer needs. One of my favourite things about this chippy is occasionally seeing the staff have little tiffs with eachother :-D

The Fish Bar is the best chippy I've been to in a long time, pure white flakes of fish covered with a golden crusty batter and a good size portion, chips are golden evenly cooked, not greasy and delicious tasting. Staff pleasant and friendly, cooking areas spotless.
