I got in early afternoon meeting someone. The place was reasonably busy , does food prices are reasonable, toilets are to your left/ahead of you. A long bar, has a few TV,s playing all sports.Got two floors.quite close to the bus station.
Visited with some friends for food today, I was really impressed with the staffs knowledge of the menu and allergies. I was asked before placing my food order if I had any allergies (I'm gluten intolerant so always ready to tell the staff, but was great to see the staff were trained to ask straight
Visited for lunch yesterday and really enjoyed it, we had a mix of burgers and chicken tikka on our table and all were lovely, great prices and fab drinks too. Jo on the bar was happy to make us cocktails and assisted us with allergies on the table! Will be back again.
Unfortunately myself, my wife, and little boy, had already eating before we went to the pub, however the meals really did look devine 😋 the service was spot on, literally only waited a couple of seconds b4 being served, and I also found the drinks was very cheap £4.60 for a pint of carling and a pin
Made me and amazing breakfast other day the poached eggs were the best I've had in a long time....staff were kind to me and the establishment was clean tidy and tidy!
The Discovery is a great old school traditional pub. Until today I'd only ever called in for a few ciders, but tried their full English breakfast and it was spot on! Plenty of tables and friendly staff with great background music. Will keep going back!
Very decent cooked breakfasts. Inside interiors were very clean and staff were friendly and approachable. Will return soon.

Good place to go in town for a meal at reasonable prices. Alot of options on menu. It is a pub so can get noisy at times
Loved it here, we was visiting friends and they said what a place this was and omg the food is great and staff were fab too. AJ was very helpful
We had breakfast here and the server was amazing, so friendly and when the card machine went down still put the order through and I just paid a moment later. It was brilliant service and great to see someone who enjoys their job so early in the morning!
