It certainly is the place to catch up with friends & have lunch & a drink. Food really good, staff are so polite & helpful.
Been a while since we were last in, really busy had a lovely meal. Staff, polite & helpful as last visit. 👏 Forgot to take photos of main courses but here is dessert. Hot
Nothing much has changed in the last 20 years here, (50 years for my mam ha!) totally fine every now and then. Latest visit was a function and it was freezing, they don't serve coffee downstairs and the music was blasting for 1pm in the afternoon. But all adds to the nostalgic charm of the place 😅 l
Decent pub food at a reasonable price,
Sharing chicken platter bigger than expected and the child's steak was cooked to perfection(Medium). Stopped in for family of 4 lunch, on the way to Scarborough on Good Friday and will look to stop in next time we pass.
Friendly staff, good service food was good. 2 mains for £11.99 is a decent offer
I come here every weekend! Most of the staff are excellent, especially Jess, Ellie, Tom, Ed Brad, Emily and Carl! The boss has it down to a T running this place it’s spectacular. Honestly couldn’t imagine going somewhere else! I recommend this pub to everyone it’s the best. they especially pour a go
Lovely pub with great atmosphere. We had a brilliant service from Lewis who made us all laugh and kept our drinks flowing. Told us about upcoming events and made sure we got the best seats when we returned for comedy night.
We had a school reunion here, had a fantastic night, great atmosphere, great staff.
Would definitely book here is again for another reunion.
A good night was had by all at a 40th birthday bash. A good sized pub with a big beer garden and a big car park. Pretty good selection of draft beers. There was a band on for the party, Kewen and The Crosswalks. It could have done with some heat on though as it never warmed up.
Came in for food with friends, good pub, nice atmosphere. Food was amazing so thank you to the kitchen team. Waitress named Ellie served us our food, very welcoming attentive with a lovely smile on her face. Well done you made our night 👍🏽👍🏽

Large pub with a dart board, pool table and sports shown on numerous screens. Decent pub grub. Friendly staff.
Brilliant pub for watching live sports !!!! Flaming Grill menu as well so good value and the steaks are on special offer all day Monday and Tuesday every week !!!
Had a wonderful afternoon party for Elodie's Baptism celebrations
Friendly staff and the food was spot on! The burger hit the spot as well as the beautifully pulled home brew. Would definitely recommend anybody in the area to drop by
