I used the boardroom for a training session yesterday. Service was brilliant, facilities are great. The staff are all super helpful. I'll be using acklam Hall for all future meetings and events. Brilliant venue. The price was less than I'd been quoted in a corporate room in the centre, I'd just assumed it would be expensive as it looks a million dollars. Well done acklam Hall. 👍🏻

We came last week for my friends birthday.
It was my first time here and I was impressed. The grounds were nice, and the interior was fabulous, loved the Audrey Hepburn picture .
Some of us had main meals, and a few had the afternoon tea.
We all enjoyed our food, and deserts were heavenly. I can't wait to come back here : ).
The staff were very nice and helpful.
The alcoholic drinks were quite expensive but all in all we had a lovely time.
Great Venue, Salmon and Pate starters. Seafood Risotto and belly pork Main. Apart from the belly pork being way to fatty. Food was very good. Service excellent. Good value at £17 for 2 course lunch.
We went to Tomahawk, and the steak was superb. The staff were lovely and professional and delivered a great service

Went there for breakfast and was very impressed. We're both vegetarian, so I had the grilled avocado with roasted tomatoes & poached eggs on toast. It was delicious, and one of the nicest breakfasts I've had. Wife had porridge with berries & chocolate, and the porridge was superb, so thick, obviously real rolled oats and not some pre-packaged thing.
Well be back next week, and as often as we can!
We had a 70th birthday party here for family. There were over 20 of us and we had the buffet with roast beef, yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and gravy. Then there were sandwiches, salad, chicken bites, spring rolls, coleslaw and it was all delicious. There were also mini carrot vlcakes which were delicious
The venue was great and the staff were very helpful and attentive. We had a fabulous afternoon and I would highly recommend Acklam Hall.

A highly recommended treat!
As a surprise, I brought my wife here for Royal Afternoon Tea and she absolutely loved it! Admittedly, no tea was consumed, instead she opted for a flight of champagne, which consisted of 3 small glasses. The glasses seemed a decent size to me and at £15 seemed very good value considering the quality of the bubbles in them.
The food itself was well presented and everything looked freshly prepared. There was a lot to get through and staff were offering to box up food that people couldn't manage to finish on several tables.
I mentioned in my confirmation email it was my wife's birthday and part way through the afternoon one of the staff presented her with yet another cake on a long plate, with 'Happy Birthday' written in chocolate.
We highly recommend this for anybody looking to experience high quality afternoon tea. The music, the atmosphere created by the staff and the quality of the food made it a very memorable afternoon.

Absolutely amazing service, food and drink. Thoroughly enjoyable evening in stunning surroundings that have been renovated exquisitely. The soufle for dessert was absolutely beautiful.

Without a doubt one of the best breakfasts I've had I had the sausage and hash brown brioche and my wife had the Colombian eggs both very very tasty.its worth a visit just to see the history of the school .I would have loved to try an evening meal there but unfortunately we were returning home that morning
Great surroundings - look up at the ceiling while you're not eating. Easy to see why it's grade 1 listed. I've been in dozens of stately homes around the country and I don't think I have seen anything like it.
We ate Sunday lunch which was lovely and the staff were excellent.
Beautiful place inside and out.went for afternoon tea with my good lady,and we weren't disappointed.good selection of sandwiches,scones and cakes,and neverending tea.hard to believe it was once a grammer school.
