A great overnight stay with two days of walking. No food served on Saturday nights, but proprietor allowed us to bring in fish n chips! Very friendly and exceptionally dog friendly. Great breakfast.
Stayed here for a wedding. The staff were so welcoming and served us a wonderful breakfast. My room was lovely, nice touch with the mini fridge with milk and water. Had a lovely view over the beer garden. I will definitely be back.
The room was small...but it is a very old building so, understandable. We had an en suite bedroom, nice and clean, with a good selection of tea and coffee available. Breakfast (for us!) was vegan & very enjoyable. Overall, a good break...
Great atmosphere, very friendly family vibe.
Just had a two night stay for a wedding. Emma and the staff are fantastic, very welcoming and looked after us all who where staying there. A good breakfast in the morning which sorted us out and ready for the big day. A Great pub, thank you!

Stayed here for one night. Fantastic place. Couldn't fault the room, was so comfortable, breakfast was lush. Staff were so accomadating and bent over backwards for you. If I'm ever in the area again I will be returning and I'd recommend anyone to stay there. Top pub and top people who run it

Just had a nights stay, due to attending wedding at saddle room, warm friendly welcome, was able to check in early, gorg breakfast, nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend,
Really friendly people, breakfast is very good with good service, lovely to walk my dog round the area, good location for all the town, & visiting other towns, bedroom clean but very small, not much clothes hanging space, beer very good, would stay again, if anyone asked me where to say i would have
Just back from a two night stay. Very enjoyable. Good room. Breakfast is next door at the Richard 111. Big Yorkshire portions!! Friendly staff. Would recommend.
Absolutely amazing, lovely food. 5 stars for service, seen staff helping elderly man who barely could walk. They literally rearranged bar so he could sit comfortably. Great job!!
Proper local pub in a lovely village. Friendly, warm and old school. Cracking hand pulled ales too.
Cosy pub for coffee after a walk in this lovely part of the Dales. Cheese scones were warm and excellent. They advertise more varieties of scones and cakes than actually available, but that might be just Monday's.
Good traditional pub, with good selection of beers and good pub grub at affordable price. Very friendly and good service.
