Came across this restaurant/pub by chance today, enjoyed our cool drinks in the garden and decided to stay for a meal. The food was delicious and very tasty, the subtle flavours complimented the meat and the flat breads were so light. Definitely will return as it's only 10 minutes drive from home and the staff so welcoming!

Really impressed with this newly opened restaurant to our village. The place has been tastefully decorated and there is a really welcoming feel as soon as you walk in. Food was fantastic and great value for money - would highly recommend the falafel as a starter! Staff all really friendly and welcoming and were really helpful in describing the menu and which dishes work well together. Will certainly be returning.

Great meal and friendly service in a busy restaurant last night. Plenty of different flavours from the grill, but the Moutabel is 'to die for'!

Food was good if not a bit pricey. The night we went, they seemed short staffed and service was polite and apologetic but slow. For the money, they should do a lot more to make it look like a Lebanese restaurant and less like the pub it obviously was: some background music, cushions, tapestries etc. They also need some of the fabulous Lebanese & Persian non alcoholic drinks like mint lemonade rather than just UK branded stuff. Lots of potential but could do better.

We wanted to thank you so much for hosting our wedding reception. From the initial planning and menu tasting session through to the day itself was just perfect. Khalid and Cath were brilliant throughout and we always felt like we were in safe hands. The reception went off perfectly. All the staff were really friendly and attentive to us and our guests. Everyone loved the ambience of the dining area, it made the whole event very relaxing and great fun. We opted for a vegan buffet and it was spectacular! (None of our carnivorous friends complained!!) Everyone said they loved the food, "The best wedding food we've ever had." We can't thank you enough for making our wedding reception a perfect celebration and a day we will never forget. Looking forward to seeing you again very soon. With love, Paul & Sue x

Have had the pleasure of dining here many times the past few years. It’s a favourite of my family’s. While we live about 20 minutes away, we are happy to drive here frequently for their mouth-watering dishes. My son‘s favourite is the lamb (seasoned to perfection), and my daughter’s is a mix of the mezze. I highly recommend the zahra maklia, the moutabel, fattoush, and the halloumi grilled with mint on the Lebanese bread, as well as the little sausages and the chicken schwarma…but you won’t find anything bad on the menu. There is also a very refreshing creamy dessert topped with pistachios that was new for me and delicious. The owner, Khalid, is an absolute delight of a person. The owner and staff clearly take a lot of pride in the restaurant, and the decor is very fitting for the restaurant and welcoming. There is an outdoor area that is perfect for families with younger children who might need an area to play, including a table tennis area. I have brought many people to the restaurant, and they consistently ask to return when they visit the area again. The food is absolutely wonderful, and be prepared to like it enough to want to return often. I find it to be a good value for the cost, and well worth any wait if they are busy. Thank you, Khalid and Team, for many a delightful meal!

Love this place! Found by chance through Google search when looking for good places to have supper in this region of Oxfordshire. Totally exceeded my expectations. Great food, freindly, attentive and adaptable service. They are clearly proud of thier cuisine here and rightly so - rich and diverse menu of unexpected middle eastern delights. Very special place. I'll be back!

What a fantastic gem to find in Middle Barton. We have been blown away by the service, food and hospitality. From the first point of contact to book a larger group to the end of the night and goodbyes - it really was the absolute best. Accommodating and attentive with delicious flavoursome food that was a personalised menu for our group. We loved sharing the different selection of food on offer to try. From hummus to kofte to moussaka to fresh salads – each delivered a wonderful bite and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. No mean feat when catering from 20+ with veggies, gluten free and some who are just fussy eaters! They spoiled us with baklava to finish which was made fresh on site and we couldn’t get enough of. Thank you for your generosity – it was so appreciated. It was a great experience and each and every person has said they are coming back and I will definitely be there again in the very near future. The Cinnamon Stick is a Middle Eastern promise that they certainly keep and more! Thank you again for a brilliant night we had a ball.

Went here for a family meal, food was served promptly and the cousine was divine! Owner’s recommendations were very tasty and everything went down a treat. To really get the most out of the experience you must order a variation of different dishes but it’s well worth it considering the variety the menu offers! The sauces really were exceptional and complimented the mains & hot mezzes beautifully. Calm atmosphere with charming owners. Will certainly be back for more.

Fantastic Middle Eastern food in a cosy old pub with a twist. We shared 14 mezze dishes (mostly vegan or vegetarian, with a couple of meat dishes for the carnivores), had desserts and alcohol and it worked out just over £40 each, including a tip. A very enjoyable evening.

There are five of us old boys that go out once a month for a decent meal out. Tonight we went to the Cinnamon Stick for the first time and it was a great experience. The food was very nice, beautifully cooked, very well presented and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be coming back again!

Beautifully prepared and presented mezzes. Great selection, particularly good for vegetarians (although the lamb special looked amazing!). Very welcoming and warm staff with typical Middle Eastern hospitality. And great Lebanese wine! This is definitely a great tucked away hidden gem well worth a trip out.

We had a lovely evening here. Sat by the wood burner on a cold night and felt so cosy. The staff were really welcoming. we ordered lots of small plates each one tastier and tastier. Such a wide variety of options. The red pepper and walnut dip was soooooo good. Thank you. Can't wait to visit again.
