What a find this place was! Excellent village pub with absolutely fantastic atmosphere and food. Dog friendly too. We had our Labrador with us and was welcomed by all of the staff. The main pub, facing the road, has a traditional bar & lounge layout dating back to the mid 1730's. Complete with an
Lovely local pub feel. Excellent food. All 'Sunday Dinners' rated well (Yorkshire pudding over cooked) Fish and chips rated 5* Friendly staff. Friendly locals. Dog friendly pub too. Dropped a star on service as they didn't come back with dessert menu... Overall, it's still a 5* feeling.
Cozy traditonal atmosphere. Good service. Pleasantly surprised to find duck on the menu. It was presented nicely, though I thought it could have been more tender. Glad to have found a quiet place to enjoy dinner in Mickleton.
We dined here Friday evening, and have done many times in the Summer (the outside is so beautiful & such friendly lovely staff on the bar outside !) The food was amazing, my partner had the fish and chips and I went for the mussels - both were delicious! All of the Staff were super friendly and help
What a lovely place. A great outdoor area with a barbecue, bar and live music (on the Sat we were there). There's a car park, too. Eight of us were looked after by the helpful and friendly team. We all complimented the food and the feel of the pub. We would happily return and recommend a visit. The
Couldn't fault it. Food was outstanding. Staff very friendly and funny. We have only popped in for a quick dinner. Was so enjoyable we will be back for more relaxed evening.
Nice restaurant with nice food , wasn't the warmest place I've eaten in . Would definitely go again Both of us had Sundays roast , chicken and pork. Both nicely cooked
Really enjoyed our visit to this pub, I chose it because food looked good. Didn't realise that there was a huge garden with cool vibe. It was lovely sunny evening and music was playing outside. We had inside table booked. Pork chop was delicious and apparently, the burger was the best my husband has
Great lunch for 9. Food was perfect. Inside a traditional pub. Have had many happy meals here over the last 2 years.
Nice outdoor garden, super friendly staff and good food. If you like your meat on the rarer side, tell them when you order - but that is generally the case in the UK (mad cows?)
This old pub has a large and attractive sunny garden with many tables in fairly private, shady, and leafy settings and also an open area great for kids. The garden lunch menu is not as extensive as the indoor menu, but the food, all three mains, was excellent and good portions. We didn't get to t
Great food, nice staff. It was recommended by our AirBnb host and lived up to the praise. Can't go wrong , quality and not too expensive (for the Cotswolds).
Best dining experience in town. Relaxed, informal environment with absolutely brilliant food - the main courses from the blackboard and the best brownies ever! Will definitely come back for the next visit!
My wife & I together with our son, daughter in law and baby granddaughter enjoyed a short break in Mickleton and has dinner last Tuesday evening. We were made very welcome and were shown to a table that accommodated us well. The food was exceptional and sourced, I believe, locally wherever possible.
Fantastic food, fantastic drink and fantastic staff. We stayed nearby at Norton Grounds where the owner strongly suggested this place and booked us a table and glad he did. The food was spot on and couldn't fault it at all! Keep it up! Will definitely be back when in the area again.
Immediately felt welcomed at this pub, even with our bouncy puppy. The friendly owner came and introduced himself, insisting there would be no problem with the dogs. The waiter suggested we try the vegetarian sweet potato gateau and it was amazing. I’ve never tasted a vegetarian dish similar, defini
Really tasty evening meal and desert. We had the sea bass and the fish and chip, both of which were excellent. The peanut butter cheesecake desert was incredible.
After a nice morning at Hidcote gardens NT we found the Kings Arms a lovely pub. We had great food and drinks all served by friendly staff. i would recommend
