This is our new favourite place to eat, the food is amazing & very good quality for the price you pay, the staff are lovely & friendly. However I do have one small niggle, I booked table number 4 for my daughter's birthday 5 weeks ago & when we got there the table had been given to another party. Wh
I took my nan here for a birthday lunch. I liked the pub, it's quite a traditional style with plenty of parking outside which was handy. It has a good selection of food on the menu which makes it so hard to choose because it all sounds so great. It is really well priced as well. I must admit, we di
Went for a meal with family for my gran’s 75th and my auntie and uncle’s 18th wedding anniversary. It was quite hot. We all had the carvary and it was really nice. Apparently the beef was chewy, but the turkey was lovely. My gran was trying to find more crispy roast potatoes and a lovely woman broug
A quaint little village pub that serves good food and a decent selection of drinks. The inside is always clean as is the outside seating and kids play area. Ample free parking on site.
Always a great experience. We have been visiting for years and the Sunday carvery is consistently high quality. Always a great choice of fresh veg and generous portions. Staff are really friendly and helpful. This place is a local gem, highly recommended.
Sunday dinner is great. I'd give it 4.5/5. The only annoying thing is that the stuffing used to be balls, and you could get more than one. If they did a steak pie option with the Sunday lunch, it gets a true 5/5. The main menu stuff on a weekday is also really good.
Really good home cooked food. I had cauliflower bhaji with pickle and raita, followed by haddock and chips in beer batter and it was totally delicious!!! The portions are huge as well. Definitely one to try. If I was being critical, only one type of red wine but otherwise absolutely superb.
Very good Dog friendly pub. Service excellent. Staff excellent. Will definitely be using again.
Lovely staff and delicious food. Went after work today and had two courses and I couldn't fault it.
Absolutely beautiful dinner friendly atmosphere and lovely staff lovely place to be proper homemade food was spot on
Lovely old place. We came here for the Sunday carvery. It was pretty popular at 1:30pm when we got there (it was much quieter at 2pm). You pay for the carvery at the bar and pay for your drinks at the same time. You then queue up. You get a choice of tukey, chicken, gammon pork or beef. They p
Came here for lunch, I used to run a pub in Oxford similar to this and it was like being back home. Food is was amazing and service was great. Only thing I would say is the price it’s very pricey for Yorkshire but I’m not letting that effect the review as I understand the overheads and costs of runn
