Freshly prepared, delicious food and drinks. Sandwiches and veggie and vegan breakfasts were absolutely delicious (and much better value than elsewhere in Mevagissey). They also do homemade cakes, waffles, sundaes and cream teas. Highly recommended.
Went here for breakfast yesterday, very nice it was to, we will defo be back. The cake was very nice to and it's not to expensive.
While on holiday went in for a meal and I was really surprised 😮. I always enjoy scampi with chips and garden peas and this was what I chose from the menu and when it was brought to my table it not only looked fresh, amazing and good but it tasted fabulous, in fact I would go as far as saying the best I have ever had. It was not greasy it was very well cooked and very well presented. The service too was amazing as we were asked if there was anything else we wanted, and if the meal was OK. Another good thing about this cafe is that if you have your dog with you they can come in and sit under your table and are also made to feel welcome. So if you are visiting Mevagissey I would strongly recommend a visit to The Lighthouse Cafe you will be made most welcome 😊
We had a delicious vegan breakfast and oat milk cappuccinos when we visited! The two ladies who run the cafe are lovely, and really accommodating- they brought us a portion of Flora to replace the butter on the table without us asking! If I had any suggestions at all, it would be to maybe add some extra protein on the vegan breakfast (like eggy scrambled tofu), but everything we ate was beautifully cooked and flavoured!
It was pouring with rain so we ducked in here for shelter more than anything but we had great food, great coffee and the warmest of welcomes from Rachel, the proprietor. Recommended!

Great place for a cream tea and some cake freshly made everyday but opening times can vary completely agree that Rachel needs a day of and relax

We had a fabulous lunch on Christmas Eve. The toasted humus sandwich (who knew!) was delicious as was the Cornish Breakfast. It was warm, welcoming, spotless and the service was great - would definitely recommend!
