Weren't serving food when we went. But it was a nicely presented Tavern. Great views of the harbour and nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly and polite....nice place to go and watch the harbour from
This place was perfect. Right on the harbour with amazing views and great beer.
We went over the sea shanty weekend and the atmosphere was perfect, a lot of laughs and a few pints with the rugby.
The staff are brilliant and do everything they can to accommodate and make us feel at home!
So yummy, we came one night and couldn't get in so went back the next and where lucky. Our toddler had mac n cheese with some fries, both tasty and high chair was provided so very kid friendly. I had the seafood thermador which was delicious and my husband had a prawn dish from the specials board which he loved. We shared a chocolate brownie sundae for pudding which was spot on.
We visited on 10th August 2023. We arrived very close to final food orders and we were welcomed with open arms. Best service of any restaurant we have ever been in. The team were so lovely and friendly, very kind and went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. It was clear how passionate and hardworking the team are. A very family feel to the place. The food was gorgeous too!! We highly recommend a visit.
Lovely food and lovely atmosphere. We have eaten here many of times in the past. Staff are always very polite and helpful. Food is very tasty. All tables get sanitised properly before new guests are getting invited inside. We were all asked to queue outside. Alcohol gel just inside the door on entry we wore our masks to the table like most others did. They were able to use full capacity of tables all food is served from 12-8pm.
We spent a week in Mevagissey in late September, and popped into the Harbour on a fair few occasions for a pint or two, as well as enjoying a lovely bowl of succulent, meaty mussels on the Wednesday. The staff and owner could not have been more welcoming, and we're so looking forward to another visit!
We spent the day in Mevagissey on our holiday and decided to visit The Harbour Tavern for our evening meal and I'm so glad that we did! We were quickly seated with our two dogs and the lovely lady serving us got our drinks while we looked through the menu. There were so many choices but we went for the Seafood Thermidore, Tiger Prawns in chilli and garlic, mac and cheese and a Margarita Pizza. With the exception of the pizza which was quite chewy, the rest was absolutely incredible! I've never had Thermidore before but it was so full of flavour and had plenty of seafood inside too. The prawns were delicious to the point that my daughter wanted more. The staff were polite and attentive, food came out in a timely manner and was cooked to perfection. All in all a really great place to eat and I cannot wait to visit again. Thank you
Great staff with good sense of humour. Quality of food was excellent with obviously fresh produce. Very slight delay with the orders but made up by the meals individually made or prepared to order. I would not hesitate to go there again for the food or just
the good range of drinks. Highly recommended. Well Done.
Fantastic food! We visited Harbour Tavern for a lunch we had to wait alitle bit outside for a table of 4 as the restaurant doesn't take bookings you just turn up but it was 100% worth it. The service was very good and we felt welcome. My stepdaughter is celiac and we where very happy that they where able to accommodate The gluten free options for her, which where homemade fish coujons and they where delicious. The restaurant menu is reasonable priced and you get what you paid for which is fantastic food. We will defenately come back again next time we around that area. Highly recommend this restaurant. Well done chefs 😊

Amazing food loads of GF options, beautiful scenery and lovely decor, making it mondern standards but stylish old fashion tavern with comfortable seating, and hand crafted wooden tables.
Amazing place
Food was stunning and worth every penny.
Cery friendly staff and atmosphere.
Would highly recommend
Having struggled to find somewhere to eat where you didn't need to book we stumbled across the Harbour Tavern, what a find. A menu for all Srafood, Tapas and Pizza, everyone went away pleaded with there choices. Seafood Thermidor was to die for cod, sea bass, king prawns and lashings of creamy Thermidor sauce
Popped in for a drink only, very spacious clean place. Nice service. View out to harbour. Outside seating was available.
