Had a few pasties etc from here
All fresh and warm
Definitely recommend
I visited here in May and I had a chicken tikka pasty and it was one of the best, or maybe the best, pasty I’ve ever had! The filling was divine. I sometimes think about it and wish I could go back in time just so I could eat it again 😂 next time I’m in Cornwall I will definitely visit. Really friendly staff too!
Had a great visit to the Cornish Bakery in Mevagissey. The pastries and sausage rolls were delicious, and the coffee was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
Popped in to The Cornish Bakery today to try their Vegan, Spiced Cauliflower & Onion Bhaji Pasty and I am not disappointed, so tasty, also picked up my first home made mince pie of the year, it's never too early. Such a lovely little Bakery and nice friendly staff aswell.
I love a good Cornish pasties and these are great many different fillings to choose from. My favourite is steak and Stilton. All pasties are £1.50 after a certain time at night so they are a bargain
Cheese and onion pasty was delicious. The fruit scone was exceptional. And all washed down with a perfectly made coffee. And served by two very pleasant young ladies. Will definitely be back for more some time.
Been in St Austell for 2 weeks and these were the best pasty’s we found (especially the traditional). The staff were brilliant and even sort us out some to take home can’t recommend enough. Thank you
I frequently buy my morning coffee here -and the occasional indulgent pastry! (Highly recommend the cherry and almond croissant!) Staff are all so friendly and product
knowledgeable. Best of all with the loyalty card, buy 9 hot drinks and the 10th is free! I'm also particularly partial to the bacon, leek and cheese pasty! 😋
I rode my bike down to Mevagissey today to celebrate the end of the British monsoon season. I thought the views and scenery were most spectacular. That was until I discovered this wonderful little gem of a bakery just set back slightly from the harbour. I could tell something good was going on as there was a bustle of customers leaving with big smiles clutching their prized paper bags of freshly baked delights and cups of steaming coffee were filling the air with tantalising aromas that made my stomach grumble and my mouth water. Once I got to the front of the queue I was met by a cheery little bearded chap who greeted me with a broad grin and sing song Cornish welcome. I was just amazed at the fantastic selection of delicious treats beautifully displayed in front of me. I settled for a coffee to go, but then the manager, a tall beautiful woman with the most enchanting accent (might be Australian?) encouraged me to try the Steak and Stilton pasty. I parted with a surprisingly small amount of currency and left with the staff waving and smiling enthusiastically and wishing me a good day. Well I have to say the Pasty and Coffee were delicious I certainly was not disappointed. With my hunger sated I returned to drop off my rubbish in their bin only to receive a warm hug and and another fond farewell (from the woman, not the little bearded chap who was grinning behind the counter but I wouldn’t have minded). I definitely recommend a visit to this amazing Bakery and it’s friendly staff, and if you don’t know what’s in a traditional pasty the team were more than happy to explain the ingredients for me. 10/10 brilliant bakery.
