It's that old style afternoon tea, in matching tea cups, tea pots, cakestand & plates, that you always want to fine this is the place for you. The table service & the food is very good. While we were there one large group was leaving & another was arriving all very happy with being there. If you have any leftover's just ask & there pack it up for you to take home for later.

This is how a Tearoom should be! Respectable, traditional and offering quality food with great welcoming service. Everything was perfect from the China teacups, menu selection and ambient music to the home made cakes, sandwiches and traditionally dressed staff. So many so called tearooms are just not following those rules.

Stopped for a light snack lunch during walking a leg of the Angles Way Walk. A little pricier than average but then it had a little more than average finesse. I would describe it as “quaint”. Sandwiches were well presented and the establishment has a nice ambience.

Really lovely afternoon tea, included images show a Victorian afternoon tea. Including cakes, sandwiches and scones. Wonderful service in a lovely setting.

our daughter purchased a voucher for a cream tea, we decided to go to the tally ho tearooms while on holiday in the area, the tea was nice and the cakes were lovely, the place was clean and the service was good, the menu was reasonably priced, its a bit to posh for me suppose I am more your transport café type but can recommend if you like tearooms.

The service was friendly and prompt! Food was fresh and well presented. Have been going there for few years and quality of food is very high! Recommend this tearoom!!! We ordered fresh tuna sandwiches and jacket potato salad pot of tea and a coffee. Belgium chocolate cake was fresh, and delicious so my husband tells me.

Beautiful tea rooms with exquisite attention to detail. Afternoon tea is a full on experience with fabulous bone china service sets and wonderfully prepared food. The menu caters for all food types. With other choices of lunches available there is literally something for everyone. Staff here are welcoming and happy. Used many times, never disappointed!

Went for afternoon tea for my friends baby shower. Excellent friendly service and food was really nice. I had the gluten free option and this was some of the nicest gluten free cake and sandwiches I have had while out. Everything was fresh and tasty. Highly recommend!

Four of us called in for an early afternoon tea last Tuesday. The sandwiches were freshly made to order and the scones and cakes were lovely. We were so full we took the cakes home for later. Lovely tea rooms, gentleman and young lady serving were very welcoming and accommodated our requests for variations on tea and filling accompaniments. Will call again. Very reasonable prices. Thank you.
