Whilst in Garwant e needed a place that was dog friendly & gluten free. Found this little gem & headed to it. We hadn’t made a reservation but the lady who run the bar managed to squeeze out part of 6 + dog in. There was plenty of parking opposite the Inn & inside was really nice. Like a modern take
Food A ⭐️ Wow the Best salt and spicy chicken wings I've ever had!!! Had the whole family here for my mums birthday, they really looked after her, she had an amazing prawn cocktail (her favourite) very generous.

Hidden gem. Found this place on the off chance and SO pleased we did. Fabulous service from Claire, food was delicious & not forgetting an ice cold pint. Highly recommend and will 100% be back
Glorious find!! Fantastic friendly service. We booked on a Friday, called lunchtime and they managed to take our reservation for dinne the same day. Busy but amazing. Have the signature chicken with brie. SWOON.

A gem of a find last night when we couldn't decide where to go. I wanted proper local pub food and it didn't disappoint. We turned up after the kitchen had closed with nowhere else to go, and they reopened it for us and made the three of us a fantastic curry, and then even drove us 4 miles back to our Airbnb at 10.30pm after some great pints. We turned up with Marley and they were mobbed but still managed to make a table for us.
Food was great, staff really friendly and the place had just the right kind of atmosphere for us after a day of exploring South Wales.
If you are in the area The Aberglais Inn is a must.
