We had an excellent afternoon tea. Lovely staff with attentive and friendly service in a luxurious setting and the food was of a high quality. I was particularly impressed with the macarons which actually tasted of the flavour they purported to be....many macarons I've tried in the past taste of nothing but almonds. So this was very good indeed! I would very much recommend afternoon tea here especially as it's such good value compared with other venues. Obviously as it's cheaper there's some compromises, so no tea menu, no amuse bouche and just one scone each BUT it was to no detriment to the experience and the cake slices were quite hearty so another scone would've been quite filling. I will definitely return and have already been telling everyone about how good it is. Lots of parking and great for those for mobility issues.
Lovely service, the steak and onion rings were amazing ( knocked 1 star off food as one of the steak was just overdone, but we still enjoy it) . Can't wait to go back, so I would highly recommend
Came here today for Mother’s Day afternoon tea. The Best Western Plus Manor Hotel is clean with a lovely aroma. However, I feel the staff at MPW could be more attentive. Once we were both seated, the lady asked us if we would like tea or coffee. We got ourselves comfortable and the cake stand arrived before our hot drinks, we waited but no arrival so I had to ask someone and then they brought it over. My mom even asked for a takeaway box the lady said she would bring one over but didn’t so we just ate the rest. Overall, the experience was pleasant. We were even invited to a private Mothers Day event, where we was greeted by lovely people and enjoyed Prosecco with live music so can’t complain ⭐️
Hi quality accommodation and welcoming, friendly staff. We had a two course Sunday lunch which was simply stunningly presented and taste. Great pricing for the quality and the Merlot was divine. A pleasant experience throughout. Well done indeed
This place is great! The service is unmatched. Ouissem, the Restaurant and Bar Manager, truly cares about your experience, and you can tell making the customers happy is the team’s main priority. The food is amazing – the best 3-course Sunday lunch we have had in a while - and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. Delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, and wide wine list. I will come back here again and again. Highly recommend!
Popped in around 11-30 pm on way home for a couple of drinks, only 3 of us in there stayed until 01-00 , very nice place clean and very comfortable with tasteful modern furnishings, inc large T.V...drinks no dearer than other loacal bars, staff young , well presented, very polite and friendly..will definitely be back. Hadn't been there before always thought it would be a bit pricey and too posh but not the case! .. well worth a visit for a drink or two..(didn't dine)
Went for my mums 50th birthday and the food, drinks and staff (especially Holly) were amazing. Every time we have came here, it has been faultless. Thank you for making my mums birthday special. We will be returning soon!
What a beautiful setting in the quaint village of Meriden located inside the Manner Hotel.
The set up is very contemporary, with a beautiful design and muted colours throughout the interior.
The staff were wonderful, accommodating & very friendly, couldn't fault them and they don't do they annoying condesending thing, which is perfect.
The meal is the classic steak house favourites done properly, don't expect anything here to be ground breaking in pushing your pallet, it's the simply classis done to perfection.
I couldn't fault the food one bit and it really made me appreciate the flavours and styles we've become used to. The price was reasonable for the brand.
Have photographed a few weddings here over the years. Great location for weddings where people are coming from all around the country, you can't get more central then Meriden! Would highly recommend.
Unfortunately the veg wasn't that hot and the cheese plate was one bit of cheese 😕 Sunday lunch apart from that was OK, Some staff maybe new as attention to detail to the guests wasn't attentive enough.
Took my Mum here for 3 course meal for Mothers Day was very nice, good service nice restaurant. Price per head was £32.50 which I thought was very fair. The only reason I gave a 4 & not 5 stars were they should scrap the stuffing balls & I thought the roast potatoes could’ve been crisper. Other than that I was very happy and will revisit.
Very reasonably priced for the high quality. It's rare 10 steaks all come out cooked perfectly at a restaurant. 26 of us ate and everyone said it was excellent.
Very very to do...bit posh for my blood but afternoon tea was out of this world. I just can't believe the quality AND quantity of the cakes. No mere human could consume that much....WOW!!!
