Life doesn't get better than a Sunday afternoon spent having tea and cake in the stunning Kent countryside at The White Finch pop up Tea Rooms in Meopham. Pippa, her Mother and staff are friendly and welcoming with a calm and efficient manner. They serve beautiful, fesh food and traditional tea in super bone-china teapots and cups. There are marquees to shelter you from the heat as well as outside tables for the sun worshippers. A true country feel and a little bit of old England and escapism from our hectic modern day lives. Do spend time at the Pick Your Own Farm on site for strawberries, gooseberries, sunflowers and pumpkins run by Pippa's Brother, Dave and his wife Becky. For an all round Kent countryside experience it comes with a 5* rating and ten out of ten!

Whitefinch is such a lovely place, it’s like an enchanted garden. Everything is made by hand and is so fresh. A lovely place for all ages to enjoy, the staff are so friendly and so welcoming, I could sit there for hours. Sausage rolls and Victoria sponge are the best I’ve ever tasted. I’ll be a regular visitor for sure x

White Finch is in a pretty setting with lots of lovely touches. The food and cakes taste and look amazing. The sausage rolls are the best I've ever tasted. It's all served on pretty bone china and the staff are very friendly. Also very dog friendly too with a little doggy corner with water and biscuits.

A Hidden Gem! We were lucky enough to discover on Friday. An idilic setting offering fresh produce straight from the farm. Child friendly and the cake is delicious!! Finished a lovely afternoon watching our daughter pick strawberries from the field.

White Finch is a special place for me. It's owned and run by my cousin Pippa who does an amazing job. All the cakes, bagels and sausage rolls are made in house and everything tastes amazing. It's set on a beautiful farm where you can pick your own fruit and purchase it or go on a walk past the apple orchards. Get fresh coffee, tea or a range of soft drinks along with cakes and treats made from great local ingredients.

Bright and airy cafe plus outdoor space on a terrace on the fruit farm, delicious cakes, coffee quite expensive, take cash as WiFi signal is very poor so card payments can time out. The carrot cake and scones are very good.

Beautiful cakes and tasty bagels. Lovely place to sit and friendly staff. Coffee was not very good unfortunately so a trained barista would be amazing. Everything in environmentally friendly disposable packaging so would've preferred some nice crockery and real cutlery to drink and eat with.

Lovely little find! Just up the road. Excellent food and lovely friendly staff. Would be nice if they did scrabled eggs on toast or crumpets or something. Its difficult with children who are fussy eaters who just want some toast! but sausages rolls, bagels and criosaints are lovely!

The best day ! We went to visit the farm for some Apple pears and pumpkin picking. We arrived for lunch and decided to have a bite at the white finch. It reconciled us with traditional English cuisine, everything is homemade, so that a simple sourdough cheese sandwich is a work of art, inasmuch as it’s leveled up by a fantastic homemade chili chutney, and the cakes, oh my, the cakes… the pumpkin pie ! Out of this world. Never had anything like it. From the coffee to the tea to the desserts and the homemade juice, wow… not to mention that the staff was the friendliest ! it’s going to be our tradition now. We finally found our happy place ! Can’t wait for the traditional afternoon tea…

Absolutely delicious cakes! Situated on a pick your own farm this was a perfect spot to grab a cake and drink. We had carrot cake, chocolate brownies, sausage rolls, tea and coffee, all were delicious, tasted fresh and homemade. We were really impressed by the cakes, just like mum would make them (but better!) the coffee was also a really nice blend and a refreshing change from the usual run on the mill coffee houses. Service was spot on, orders taken and delivered to your table quickly, all the staff were friendly and welcoming. Tea rooms were clean and tidy.
