A lovely country pub with a fine selection of ales. The garden is the perfect spot in the summer. You're guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome from the lovely owners. A must-visit if you're in the area!

Love the events held here but also great to pop in for a quick drink or food. Fantastic
Best pub ever great atmosphere lively people fantastic food what more can you ask for!!!!
We headed here to wait for transport after the local campsite which we'd booked to stay at was closed due to inclement weather. The landlord and landlady were so welcoming and kind, they were generous with letting us take up a sofa and didn't mind our large camping backpacks taking up space. There's a really strong sense of community in this pub, everyone was so friendly and it felt like home! It made a rubbish day much better - we're looking forward to going back soon!
Really nice little local pub with lovely food and top notch beer. Came back a few months after the last review and still 5 stars. Vegetarian options, local banter and beautiful beer that always changes. Enjoyed it thoroughly.
Stopped for a few drinks while out on a hike. Friendly barmaid, good selection of beer, nice interior, and a small play area in the garden for kids. The beer garden juts out into the village cricket pitch, so you get a front row seat if there's a game on. Spent a pleasant afternoon and would go back when in the area.
They do food, but not all day, so didn't get to try it.
Just called in for a drink after afternoon walk.
Haven't been there for years.has been done up nicely and has a real country pub feel.
Barman George was excellent and provided wonderful service.
Will definitely go back shortly and try the food.

Called in yesterday afternoon 22-09-18 (whilst walking greyhound from Croft view) was given a taste of all three well kept real ales, biscuits for dog and friendly service.
A proper country pub well worth a visit.
Lovely pub and friendly atmosphere! Dog friendly and the fish and chips on a Thursday is amazing. Definitely recommend as the fish is fresh and portions are absolutely huge!
A welcoming pub with great food and ale. Stopped here on a long walk from London to Canterbury. The landlady and staff went above and beyond with their kindness. Highly recommend.
Amazing gluten-free roast available. Even had stuffing and Yorkshire pudding!! Great price too. Friendly and welcoming staff.
Been here a couple of times now. Sunday roasts are brilliant, good portions. Good real ales on tap. Nice country pub.
