I had the absolute pleasure of dining at this remarkable Indian restaurant in Anglesea, and I must say, it was an experience that left me utterly delighted! From the moment I stepped through the door, the warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for an unforgettable evening. Now, let's talk about the highlights of the meal. The Lamb Madras was a symphony of flavors that danced on my taste buds. The tender pieces of lamb were expertly cooked and bathed in a rich, aromatic sauce that had just the right amount of heat. Every bite was a delightful revelation, a testament to the chef's artistry in crafting such an exquisite dish. And the Garlic Naan, oh my goodness! It was like biting into a cloud of pure heaven. Each piece was perfectly soft and fluffy, with just the right amount of garlic infusion to elevate the entire experience. It was so addictive that I couldn't help but order seconds. But it's not just about the food; the service was exceptional as well. The staff was attentive, courteous, and made sure every detail of our dining experience was impeccable. In conclusion, this Indian restaurant in Anglesea is a true gem. The Lamb Madras and Garlic Naan are nothing short of masterpieces, and the overall dining experience is a treat for all the senses. If you're in Anglesea and craving the finest Indian cuisine, do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant. You won't be disappointed!

One of the best Indian restaurants I've ever been too. Better than those flashy, trendy London ones. There was a group of us. We loved the honey roasted chicken. I had a Railway Lamb Curry. Utterly stunning.

Overall Experience 1. Cauliflower - highly recommended, very well spiced, savoury, soft 2. Curry fish - highly recommended savoury, fish is cooked well, could be a bit more dry before pouring the curry on top, flaky fish 3. Chicken deshi - too dry chicken, well spiced 4. Lamb - minced lamb is weird, would appreciate if it’s lamb meat instead, well spiced , savoury 5. Service - friendly staff 6. Serving time - 25 mins 7. Affordability - a bit pricy, £25 per pax 8. Atmosphere - clean

We came to celebrate a birthday and the staff let us put a few banners up. The staff were very friendly and professional. Delicious food full of flavour. The menu shows a variety of different spices next to the dishes which is great as some of us can't handle spicy food. There is plenty of choices on the menu. Highly recommend Spice Island.

This place is not only the best Indian on the island and surrounding area but its up there with the best regardless of cuisine. We have eaten here 3 times in the last month its that good. The service is great. The 2 young waitresses are attentive and dont stop moving. The food is very good. Its not your average Indian restaurant food. The menu is concise and there are dishes that are refreshingly different. Ive eaten Indian food for years. This is as good as Ive eaten anywhere. If I was going to recommend one dish Ive had so far it would be the railway lamb curry. My only complaint is its a 30 minute drive from home.

Beautiful food, the onion bahji’s were exactly how they should be round and crispy. The Lamb Handi is one of the best curries we have ever had the lamb was so tender and flavoursome. Would highly recommend.
