This hotel has stunning views if your room is at the front of the hotel. If not, plenty of space to enjoy the views outside/in the restaurant with a beer. Staff were friendly and service was great. Certainly will be stopping here again. Only down side I encountered was the shower cubicle was quite small but, otherwise loved being here. Also, a note to better sign post the entry. As someone new to the area, very easily missed if not sure where to go.

We had a brilliant lunch here. 12 of us managed to book a table only 2 hours prior on a Sunday. We ended up with s private room with beautiful views even with a massive TV which they were happy for us to watch the F1 on. The service was brilliant and the food was very good. I had a roast dinner and it was very tasty. Thanks!

Stayed here for the evening for my partners 50th…..the location was amazing! We are locals but we still felt like we were on holiday! The team provided amazing service during our family meal……nothing was too much trouble. They even went the extra mile whilst bringing out the birthday cake-they made the moment even more special. The food was presented beautifully and it tasted delicious. It was the best steak pie that I have eaten in a long time. The breakfast was yummy too……and we had tables by the windows so it was very pretty indeed. Our little sausage dog also had his own sausage brought out for him. Great stay-would definitely recommend! Well done guys 👍

just got back from a lovely 2 night stay here - we were in an annexe room as had our dog with us. The room was very comfortable and clean with a fantastic view over the menai straits. The bar and restaurant good also and had a very tasty dinner and breakfast (my husband says best pie he's ever tasted!) The staff were lovely and helpful - would definitely recommend for a relaxing break.

Wonderful stay, ideally located for visiting nearby attractions or just generally exploring, in a very welcoming, friendly & relaxing environment, clean & comfortable room with sea view, food was exceptional in both content/ presentation & tasted as good as it looked. We really enjoyed our time here, couldn’t fault anything & highly recommend 😊

Great pub with lovely decor and beautiful views. Food is top notch. Just be careful on the driveway down from the main road. You don't want to meet a car coming the opposite way.

Lovely staff, attentive service. Cracking bar, great food with a stunning view. Rooms are comfy and clean with amazing view if you select the sea view rooms. Our second visit to stay here and not our last.

What an amazing location, Garth Pier in touching distance, the pub is lovely inside, car park is down a steep, narrow lane but is right on the waterfront. Stunning views back toward Bangor. Just stopped for a drink, Robinson's tied pub so the beer was fine, the food we saw being served looked very nice, trad pub fare but elevated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Outside could do with a bit of fresh paint but overall the experience was very good. Surprised it was so quiet considering it was lunchtime and the sun was out, I was very happy to have a full choice of outdoor seating. Will definitely be back.

Amazing place to share a good meal with friends and family. The cuisine was spot on and the service was top notch. I will definitely be going back when I next visit North Wales, which I hope will be very soon.

We've stayed here a couple of times now. On both occasions, we were getting the ferry from Holyhead the next day. For us, the location is great as it's only a 30 min drive to the ferry port. Bangor is a few mins drive away as well. There are two car parks, the larger one at the top (some steps take you down to the hotel) and the smaller one at the bottom right outside the hotel entrance. We've used both car parks, the top one is easier to get out of (the lower one involves exiting via a blind spot) but you will want to park at the lower one if you are not particularly mobile. The service was fantastic, very welcoming. We felt looked after at all times. The food was spot on and very good value. The Guinness was superb (a rare find this side of the Irish Sea!). Our room on our second visit was OK (we stayed in one of the rooms in the annexe), whereas our room on the first visit was inside the hotel and much nicer. All good though, the shower was great and beds comfy. We had a great stay on both visits and look forward to coming back again in the future.

WOW what a great location overlooking the sea. I can imagine most people missing this place as its not visible from the main road. Nice tables and chairs outside and plenty of them. We didn't est here but plenty where and the food looked good 😋 👍 x

Great food, reasonably priced and beautiful views. I would welcome a few more meat based dishes on the menu, as it's very fish/seafood heavy, but thats just my personal preference. A nice place to take visitors if you're local to the area.

Just returned from a two night stay. As a beachcomber and seaglass artist this hotel is perfect. The decor is maritime themed and it is located on a shingle beach full of little treasures, I was truly in my 'happy place'. I have shared my experience and some of my beach finds on a seaglass hunters site.

The Gazelle hosted a 70 birthday party for our family. The dedicated room was lovely, service excellent and food fine. The waiter made every effort to meet our needs and made the event extra special for us - many thanks

A stunning setting right on the banks of the Menai Straights. Great food and pleasant service. This was our second visit in a month and have just booked for all the family to come for dinner.
