July 22 visit (I updated one word on the review, it changed the date to Oct 2023) I love a good small plates restaurant and these eats, were some of the best I've ever have. Usually when doing reviews, I tend to give a four star place five stars, as people underscore (plus no 4.5 option exists). But I cannot rate this place highly enough. As someone that uses Google maps a lot, I hope people will give it a try. We booked online easily enough, which is probably prudent during busier hours. They did have a large party upstairs apparently, so that's is an option for those interested. The food itself was excellent quality, reasonably priced for small plates, with pleasant staff and decor. One couple did come with a toddler, when we went early evening (at opening). So it's fine for kids I would say if necessary. Not sure if they have a kids menu. As a side note, some of the meal names did tickle us. Retired dairy cow being the one that sticks to mind.

This is a spectacular experience/meal. We ordered a little bit of everything and left fully satisfied after sharing them among the 7 of us. Best mojito I’ve ever had. Each plate was thoughtful and deliciously composed. You’ve got to make a reservation as a heads up.

The food was absolutely delicious! We were really impressed with the quality, and even the size of the portions (even in the 'small plates). The Korean Fried Chicken, the Haddock in mussels and Tartare sauce, and the Apple and brown butter tart in particular were truly wonderful. We did have to wait quite a while for our food but the waitresses were very friendly and pleasant, and the food made up for it!

A nicely decorated, cosy restaurant with caring, helpful staff. We had a lovely tapas meal, a nice bottle of Malbec and took the remaining wine home with us.

Dined at a few great restaurants in Menai Bridge the past few days, and we are glad that we ended our last dinner at Freckled Angel. The food was served in Tapas style, with very creative selections. The flavours were very well balanced with various textures, which excited and delighted the taste buds. All of the dishes that we had were delicious, especially the cod and the pork belly. The Yuzu meringue was amazing, and the chocolate parfait was to die for. The staff were friendly and efficient. If you have to choose only one place to dine while in Menai Bridge, book Freckled Angel!

One of the best meals I have ever had. I've eaten at a lot of fine dining places and in terms of flavours (which let's face it is the only thing that really matters) this place was incredible. Every mouthful was absolute perfection. I wish I lived nearby to come as often as possible. If you are food fan you HAVE to go here.

Went on a Monday night, was pretty full.. amazing food and service! We were a group of 4 and we had 6 small plates, 1 large plate and a fair few sides and was perfect (plus some nice deserts and some Irish Coffees to finish) Great drinks and well priced for the quality of food. 100% recommend.

From arrival to the time we left we could only say amazing things. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff were pleasant, observant and went above and beyond. The food was incredible, from the first mouthful to the last everything was perfection.

We made a last minute decision to have lunch here and could not have been happier. Fantastic food, great value and really friendly people. I had what was effectively a four course 'tasting menu' lunch for £26, and everything was cooked fantastically well. An absolute pleasure.

I cannot stop raving about this lovely restaurant. Reasonably priced, quality food, great ambience and excellent service. The staff were so kind and made our evening as we were drenched. If you go there, you must try the Korean chicken, Haddock and Panna cotta. Thank you so much!
