This place is just perfect. It's in the middle of nowhere but it's ideal. The location is superb. If you were to have a wedding, a party, going for dinner or just go to the pub and have a drink. Ideal. The food is 10 out of 10 and the staff are so good and professional. I literally have no complaint

My wife & I received a Gift Voucher to visit this Restaurant in celebration of our Diamond Wedding Anniversary in June of this year. We were DELIGHTED to find that EVERYTHING about this place was to our taste! We received a lovely welcome, the Service was first class and the Food was pure excellence
Incredible food! Had a delicious rump steak sandwich. The bar area has a nice layout and decor, however was a little bit cold to be honest.
What a great experience. Super friendly and efficient waitress, absolutely stunning food and the presentation was just stunning. We loved our experience and at this restaurant and would definately go again!
A huge thank you to the chef tonight who made suggestions so that I could enjoy a beautifully crafted 3 course meal which was totally dairy and gluten free ! It was such a joy to not feel like I was a problem ! Highly recommend the menu was lovely!
Great Pub. Friendly young staff. Good selection of whisky, beers and lager. Excellent wine and fine dining available Bar food was good, some thought full selections as well as pub meals at fine dine prices. Well attended.
Dishe (brie croquette, vegan risotto) I tried were good but not amazing however, my husband found each item (wood pigeon, venison, apple trifle) he ordered as perfect and gave his meal 5/5, he couldn't fault anything. Each mouthful was flavorful and unique.

Food was delicious and probably some of the fanciest i have had in the Forfar area. Prices were reasonable given the quality of the meals. Service was excellent. The staff even brought out a birthday cake we had prepared as a surprise for my grandad and cousin whose birthdays it was.
