The Clawson Kitchen - Melton Mowbray - Photo album

Friendly greeting despite arriving 25 minutes before opening. It was a cool damp morning and the manager kindly served me to a coffee before opening time. A strong filter coffee for £2.50. I did notice a tempting selection of cakes and quite possibly pork pies. I'll bear the latter in mind for futur
Had a family lunch 30 Aug 2023, the food was lovely, everyone really enjoyed it. Also had the pork pie which is made on the premise, it was fantastic.
Good food in a homely environment although personally I didn’t value the dogs company watching me eat. Staff initially forgot we had entered so we did not get table service, however, this is a great eatery in a pleasant rural location with food that is value for money
My favourite place for food, in and around Melton, when I'm on the road. Top quality grub and lovely staff.
Fabulous little gem with delights for all! Delicious homemade quiches cakes and more. Great staff that are polite and helpful, nothing is to much trouble. Reasonable prices, clean and cosy what more could anybody want? 5 stars from us. Do yourself a favour if you are visiting the area or local get y
Great place. Food very good and service friendly, relaxed and efficient. Recommend.
Visiting the area, friendly welcome, service with a smile to all even those arriving ten minutes before closing!. Excellent choice of food and drinks available. Seating areas, clean comfortable and stylish.
Really good food, but it's the little things that count in an experience. Waitress spilt a good amount of milk on the table and just left it for us to clean up with our napkins. Such a shame on an otherwise great experience.
Lovely cosy and friendly place to eat with great service and good food. Option to dine in or take out and they also accommodate some dietary requirements. Will definitely be going back soon :)
Great service. Bit pricey but with a visit. Very cyclist friendly🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️
Friendly staff, good wholesome food. Their Victoria Sponge is out of this world. I'm a regular and feel like family when I go there. Can't wait for the Cafe to reopen to sit down meals.
Just recently moved to the village and started using this cafe. It's a lovely little cafe in this popular village location. Popular with locals and passing hikers, ramblers and cyclists. Very friendly staff and great food and drinks.
My wife ordered 4 sausage cobs today, for my work lads. They were amazed by how tasty and large they were. They live in Oakham and said there is no place there that does such good food! Very friendly owners. thank you. Mark Batty
Lovely local team running the cafe who will give a very warm welcome. I had peanut butter cake and some homemade quiches which were truly delicious. Definitely returning, thank you, Fiona
Went in for lunch. Recently reopened and feels more modern, spacious. More tables. Still great food, and good selection of cakes also. Took away one of their pork pies, amazing!
Nice coffee. Lovely quiche and then super cake on my two visits this week. Great to be able to support this venue that is trying so hard in these difficult times.
Visited with a friend last month. Hadn’t visited since Deb owned the buisness previously. Nicely refurbished and good coffee, tea and teacake. Will be back.
Excellent local cafe. Great food. Cyclist friendly - accommodated 17+ cyclists arriving all at once.
