Selected for a work event, lovely traditional style country pub, apparently famous for food and pie.
Was not disappointed, comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff, and the food was perfect in every way.
All in all excellent food and good value.
The waiter was absolutely amazing, really helpful and polite, though we had to wait quite a while for our food but it was lovely and hot
Food great bit pricey but expect that from a village pub great staff and locals very friendly and welcoming would recommend if staying would say tvs could be a little larger but all in all great little place and breakfast also good and landlord accommodating enough to let you have breakfast at a tim

I rang at short notice and they were very busy but the landlord managed to squeeze us in and the food was great and the service was fantastic we will definitely be coming back.
The pub is in the most beautiful village with a lovely beer garden to the rear of the property. The staff are very attentive and polite and the food was excellent. There are no reasons
I can think of as to why we won't go back. First class all round.
Food good. Staff and clients freindly. Nice spacious interior. Plenty of outdoor seating as well. Has its own piano to play in the restaurant area. My son plays background music for the clients sometimes at the weekend usually Saturday afternoon. Come and join us and enjoy.
Everything you could want in a village pub and more, log fires, welcoming staff, hearty food and friendly atmosphere. 10/10
Stayed for one night as was attending a wedding. Place was spotless and tidy and the meals were excellent; all made on site, as I am vegetarian I felt well catered for and plenty to chose from. Breakfast was really good and the eggs served in individual pans was unique. Would stay again.

Absolutely lovely evening and overnight accommodation. The staff were absolutely friendly and welcoming and the food was amazing. Will definitely be returning and recommending to friends.
Another great meal, £58 for mains and pudding for 4 people cant go wrong. Lovely atmosphere brilliant staff and brilliant owners Michael and Mark. Wife was happy with her 30th birthday meal. Thanks again.

Friendly local pub. Four of us visited for Sunday lunch with a baby and they were very accommodating and friendly. Food was very good also!
I would like to say thank you so much for my meal today (11/03/2028, Mother’s Day) that my son brought me on this special day. The food was amazing and the welcome we got was very friendly and warm.
