Great host offered to cook a light bite himself after the kitchen was closed. Definitely will visit again as made very welcome.
Great place to go. Friendly country pub even to strangers. Would recommend highly.
Awesome pub, food, BBQ, beer garden and service. Very impressed
Only called for a quick half but hope to visit again as I thought it a lovely country pub full of character and very friendly service
Nice little put for a swift pint, they do food but don't know when as none was available when we went
Disappointed as no food on a Friday yet the website said there was....gone right down hill since we last came here and no Timothy Taylor which they did have before and it was a amazing.....never again
Used to come here to the bike nights a long time ago and was always a great place. Recently been here for lunch (twice) and both times the food has been amazing quality, presentation excellent and you won't leave here hungry. Good range of beers too. Check it out, you won't be disappointed. Our new
Popped in after work... cracking beers on Sale. Love it
Lovely rural pub! we went for Sunday lunch and it was awesome! lots of tasty food, and at a very reasonable price. Staff where great too, and there was a good atmosphere.
Only pub in the Village, however very popular, very friendly including to all dogs, and amazing food. It was so tempting to lick the plate clean after my main course!! I would highly recommend, but note you may need to book in advance to ensure availability.
Brilliant setting for a beautifully British pub in the village of Ashby Folville. Lovely pub inside and out and always filled with nice polite people and staff. The pub also holds a motorcycle bike night on the second Tuesday of every month.
Excellent professional service. Excellent beers Excellent food 😋😋😋
Provided lovely Sunday roasts for the adults and some acceptable alternatives for the young grandchildren who are often hard to please! Bit of a delay waiting for the food but there were 12 of us so hardly surprising. Very nice setting in a quiet village.
Friendly staff, lovely home cooked food and good vibe. A relatively limited, but varied menu but really well executed. Definitely recommend
Had a great Sunday dinner and dessert, wife to son and his girlfriend had a really nice time few years since we're been for a meal here, really nice staff deserve the praise.
Friendly welcome in this lovely village pub. Would have been great to have seen the fire roaring as adds to the warmth and atmosphere. Food was lovely and service efficient but it was quiet. Definitely recommend and would return.
Had Sunday lunch sat outside. Kids and wife had turkey, I had beef. Great quality and sized meal and very friendly service. They didn't offer a kids menu at the minute but that may change once we are out of covid
