Made the mistake of a family jaunt to Melton Mowbray on a Sunday but everywhere was closed!! What’s that all about. Fortunately this place was open and I had one of the best coffees I’ve ever tasted. Result.

First visit today as my bus didn't turn up so thought I would treat myself to a little light lunch. I am so glad the bus didn't arrive, good food, lovely service, will definitely be returning there. Thank you

Popped in today for lunch with my other half...was definitely a top choice and if we lived closer we would be regulars! I even had a gluten free bread roll, although I'm not sure to what degree they cater for fully gluten free folk. My bloke said the coffee was 10/10 and he is tough to please (I don't drink coffee). And then he chatted to the owner (sorry, didn't ask your name!) about the delights of coffee and the beans and how to keep coffee fresh...he seems very knowledgeable indeed! Staff very welcoming, helpful and friendly :-)

Called in for a coffee on a busy Saturday and ordered a 4 shot latte. Being the ex owner I was nervous what I was going to get as I am very fussy and know how hard it is to pull 2 consecutive double shots. A young lady, Evie who just started before we left was Barista. My coffee was presented to me with a smile. I got in my car and slowly took a sip. Was it going to burn my lips? Was it going to taste like dishwater? Was it going to be too bitter? So many expensive disappointing coffees nowadays. Well. BOOM! First sip hit the spot. Perfect temperature, perfectly microfoamed milk, That chocolaty, caramely, taste burst through with a hint of fruit to give it a bit of acidity. Beautiful aftertaste, Oh yes. I was well impressed! GREAT JOB GUYS!

Lovely cafe, bright spacious feel and very friendly. Excellent coffee, lovely salad and tempting looking cakes, all a few yards from the town centre. Would become a regular haunt but Melton Mobrey is a bit of a hike from Cambridge for a cuppa.

A special cafe to me for so many reasons. A quiet, friendly cafe on the edge of the town centre. Well worth a visit if you are in Town. I love the salads and a beautiful strawberry pavlova to finish. Special as I spent many a day here with my friend during her illness which holds precious memories I will forever treasure. The staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. Definitely pop in if you are heading to Melton. They do take away too

Had a fantastic first visit to Off The Beaten Path this week. Food was delicious and freshly prepared, service was very friendly and helpful and the cafe had a lively atmosphere about it. The Victoria sponge was out of this world too! Highly recommend

Hiding in plain sight, just from the busy shopping area, this is a perfect cafe for light refreshment and a chat. Serving breakfast, lunch a tea in a pleasant and timely fashion, in an informal atmosphere, it has found its niche.

Discovered by stopping off on the way home for somewhere to stretch our legs and grab a decent coffee, ended up having coffee and a beautiful Victoria sandwich cake. Spotlessly clean and very welcoming staff, wouldn't hesitate to call back in if we are passing again. Don't visit the chain shop coffee shops, support the independents, especially this one if you are in the area. Thank you

Lovely little place where You can grab a cuppa tea and cake or... ...or sandwich and coffee? Service is pleasant and staff very polite. The place got a good range of tea or speciality tea and coffee cakess and sandwiches or toasties. Experience was pleasant and will come bck for more. Thank you.
