First visit. The venue is gorgeously decorated. The staff were friendly and unobtrusive. The food was very tasty. We arrived on time but our table was unavailable we were offered a temporary table whilst the staff cleared up the late running previous diners. We were given complementary drink whilst our table was made ready. The decor has a quirky giraffe theme. We were asked to relocate for a third time due to over running our allotted time. This was no doubt the best location. Sublime views of the hills from this excellent spot. Lu’s Place is definitely worth another visit. Thank you for making our first visit a wonderful experience.

Limited menu to suit children from 9 upwards as childrens menu is only 8 and under so my 12 year old's had to choose from main menu which is more geared up for adults. We had choose something they would at least try to eat and pay ridiculously high prices for it, pancakes where a hit but £17 for a hot beef sandwich from main menu and for it then to be half eaten!. Drinks priced as to be expect for a beautiful place to visit but unfortunately will not visit as a family again as £100 for 2 adults and 2 children age 12 for a lunchtime visit for 1 drink each and one course each and 2 sides of chips plus added service charge really is quite ridiculous. Would visit again if in the area only but only as a couple for drinks and maybe desserts. I really do wish Lu's place every success and stunning place to visit and has been a place I have wanted to visit for a good while but are lucky enough to have so many places nearer to home that we enjoy going to with a similar vibe, wider choice of food options and more affordable when going as a family of 4 or 5.

We tried Lu’s Place for the first time for my birthday, it was fantastic. They really have thought of everything, child friendly too. The staff were really friendly and the food was delicious, we will definitely be back. I can’t wait to take our daughter there so she can try the pancakes! Thank you so much! :)

What a lovely place we all enjoyed a lovely breakfast and the service was really good. Our boys enjoyed the bouncy castle afterwards too which was a nice bonus.

Wow what an experience we had here. It was our last stop on our way home from our honeymoon. I'm giraffe crazy so it was the perfect way to end a lovely few days and perfect is definitely the word I'd use for this place. The staff we're amazing they upgraded us into a VIP pod and that was beautiful the food was absolutely delicious. Honestly couldn't ask for more we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we can't wait to return just wish it wasn't so far away from us otherwise I'd be here all the time :) Thank you for making it extra special for us

We booked and were allocated a table where we had asked for. Our waitress was working on her first day at Lu's Place and she was lovely and helpful when we asked for a little variation of one of our meals. The meal was first class, quality ingredients and served with a smile. Best Eggs Royale I have ever had.

I always love coming here never have a bad meal and service, and this weekend it was amazing with the level of service and the quality of the breakfast we all had an amazing time, we had a big party of 12 to 14 people on both Saturday and Sunday before we all headed to work to have staff training we wanted the best as my colleagues had come from all over the uk and Barcelona. the food and the friendly relaxed and high end service left everyone enjoying the weekend. thank you so much and ive booked tickets for the November party so cant wait.

Lovely environment and furnishings. The service was great, very polite and attentive. A few things let the breakfast down however- the eggs were overcooked, on all four plates. Brown toast was added to one plate and white to the other three, no idea why. The sausages, while pleasant, were not browned. I'm guessing they were cooked and kept warm, as they were definitely very cooked but pale which sadly was a bit off putting. Bacon was lovely though. The plates were cold too, breakfast got cold quite quickly. It's a shame, and wouldn't put me off returning as I think they were minor quibbles, the price point is higher end though, so the meal should be too. Great coffee!

Amazingly clean. Very very classy decor. Chilled vibes. Beautiful food. Service was a little slow but that’s not an issue as you’re paying for the experience of being there too. The food is expensive but you’ve got to understand the running costs of such an establishment and not only that, the expense of building the restaurant and decorating it to such high standards. One thing that niggles me to the core is the additional charge for service. The inflated cost of having 2 breakfasts and 2 coffees at £38 is enough to recoup the costs of what is mentioned above. It’s a stealthy charge adding “service” on top of the £38 for the sake of trying to take more money and I asked politely for this to be removed. Had we been there of an evening in a party of 6 of us (for instance) when people are working hard in antisocial hours we would have definitely paid for the service but at 10:30 when it’s a normal day and there were just 2 of us I’m afraid it’s not on.
