Not been here for quite a long time. I have to say the refurbishment is top class. The food was excellent and the portion sizes incredible. Had a really enjoyable time and will be definitely returning soon!!
We called today not expecting anything like the lovely time as a family we had .
Food was excellent , service was exceptional , it’s dog friendly ( we didn’t think it would be as it’s immaculate ) in the main bar area and it’s been refurbished to a point it’s unrecognisable from the Devonshire we last visited , it’s beautiful!
I visited with my parents and my sister , Chris who runs the Devonshire went out of his way to make sure we were happy today , we had dietary requirements that needed checking with the menu and nothing was too much trouble .
Without a doubt we will be back �

Friday dinner for two was absolutely superb! Great Food, Presentation and Services! Best Pork Belly ever! Car parking on the left side of the building. Seating out area very popular with locals during summer time. Beautifully up to date decorated inside. Best to make a prior reservation, as there were no available tables on the evening, all reserved. Highly recommended place!
Fabulous place, awesome food and service. Relaxed atmosphere and very reasonably priced. Had a really nice roast beef dinner, perhaps should have ordered the smaller plate 🤣. Will return.
Lovely roast dinner, only marked it one star less as we only got one carrot and also caulifower cheese would've been nice to have available as a side dish.
Food was delicious, we had the pie of the day which was mince and onion (got the small portion which was plenty), and the large fish and chips. Batter was very good, very crispy and fish delicious. The chips were fantastic, crisp on the outside and fluffy and light in the middle.
Would love to come back in the summer and sit out in the beer garden.
We held a party at the Devonshire using the garden room, everyone loved the food and the decor, we were able to play our own music and also were given some of the other tables in the garden to enjoy. There were no issues with booking, paying or organising the party here and a special shout-out to George who helped with our every need but also thank you to all the staff that made our day, and our guest's day, extra special.
Great food, lovely atmosphere and staff and the pub was decorated for Christmas was lovely inside.
Had a prawn salad with portionof chunky chips, small fish and chips which was certainly very filling and gammon with all toppings. Panacotta for dessert to share between us.

We love coming here food is amazing we never fault it! Especially the roast.. Oh and the amazing desserts. Service is great too! We also had an Irish coffee to top it off 👌🏽 Thank you!

Had lunch with a friend today. Food was served piping hot and the presentation was really lovely as well as tasting delicious.The staff were very helpful and friendly.
