Got our second takeaway from King’s Gourmet on Saturday night, as we wanted to see if it was as good as the first time! It was even better. Beautifully cooked, great flavours, large portions, sensibly priced and really friendly staff - and they’ve got 5 stars for cleanliness too. We won’t be going anywhere else now that we found Melksham’s finest Chinese takeaway!

Never let us down, best Chinese in Melksham. Great portion sizes and always delivered hot. Understandable that the delivery time is long, they’re the best. Won’t go anywhere else!
I ordered by mobile phone when on the last leg of our long journey home. My signal was very patchy but the lady taking the order displayed great patience and continued to wait until my order was complete.
The food was delicious and plentiful and because they were incredibly busy and I had to wait longer than the stated time, we were rewarded with plenty of extra prawn crackers.
This evening was our first experience of this local Chinese takeaway. The flavours of the food and the presentation were fabulous, and the portions were generous too. The staff were obliging and friendly. A 5 star rating from us!
We had a variety of dishes, such as chicken in salt and chili, chow mien, salt and pepper chips, chicken balls and more. And overall every single dish was delicious, we live all the way in Bradford on Avon, however we would still drive the extra miles for this Chinese. Honestly the best Chinese I’ve ever had.
This is by far the best Chinese takeaway in Melksham. We have tried out every Chinese in Melksham and this one is definitely the best. The food is always fresh and extremely tasty. Staff are great and they listen so what you say if you have perhaps a special wish.
Food is delivered hot and tasty and they tell you exactly how long it will take. If you are looking for a great take away look no further!!!!!!!
Great food, better than any other Chinese in Melksham. Arrived super fast and was great value! Great customer service and the delivery driver was very polite and friendly too - definitely recommend!
Best Chinese in Melksham. Huge portions (especially the house special chow Mein) , really tasty and good prices. Unfortunately they don't take card and don't order online
Best Chinese take away in Melksham! Very friendly owners and staff, and excellent vegetarian options too. It does get really busy so be prepared for a bit of a wait, but it's worth it!
Went there for the first time yesterday 27/03/20 the Singapore style chicken chow mein was amazing and the portions are really good it was much nicer than the chop suey House Singapore chow mein I normally have

We used to have a really good Chinese in Bath, however since moving to Melksham we have found the best Chinese takeaway. All the staff are friendly, polite and the food is really really good.
