Stopped in for a quick bite after visiting the skatepark from out of town. Service was quick and friendly. Only criticism is that, being a cash only business, menu prices are often in odd figures. I only had egg fried rice which was £3.05 so I was left with a pocket full of change. £3 would have been easier for all involved.
We just moved into the area and we were so happy to have fallen onto Chop Suey House. It is absolutely delicious, it was ready so fast and packaging was generous and neat. This is definitely the best Chinese we have had since arriving in the UK!
First time users and we were not disappointed, food and service was excellent. The quality was top notch and we will definitely use again. Beware that it's cash only but well worth going to the cash point beforehand.
Best Chinese in Melksham, used many times and never had a problem. Food is always great quality and you get your moneys worth in quantity! If I could give a higher rating than 5* it would be a 10* every time!
In my expert opinion, the best and most consistent Chinese in Melksham. And I've tried them all, some good, some bad, but only this one has the honour of being above my mother on the phone speed dial. I've spent more in Chop Suey House than I did on my last car. If I ever marry (again), Chop Suey House would be my ideal caterers.

Best value and tastiest Chinese in Melksham by far. Pretty much double the portions you will get from anywhere else and with tasty, warm food delivered as quickly as you'd expect. The pancake roll is massive - the dive of 6 you'd get elsewhere and all of the food is well cooked and not over cooked. The staff are really friendly and the prices are very fair considering the huge portions. They may not be on the online ordering sites but you'll get the best food from here for sure.

Only reason I can't give 5 stars, you can either:
- order in person (but often they answer the phone right in front of you while talking to them).
- or you can phone your order though (if you can get through on phone).
Wait times are sometimes long at over 2 hours. The food is too good that they get too busy. Would be good if you can text orders through instead of spending 40 mins during lockdown to get through and then wait another hour + for the food. Order ahead of when you want food.
First time I have used this takeaway, I’ve always used kings gourmet as I thought this was the best......not anymore! Chop Suey house has delicious food! Delivered at the time we asked for it. Definitely try the shredded beef with honey and sweet chilli sauce, best I’ve had
Fantastic food, great portion sizes and reasonable prices, plus they deliver. The complete package. Only one negative is that they don't seem to have their own site with a menu, although it is available elsewhere online.
Recently just moved to Holt and have been looking for a Chinese that's local an decided to give this place a go, definitely will be going back here! Food was amazing, it was hot an tasted brilliant, massive portions which is what everyone loves!! Customer service was excellent!! And was ready in no time!
